Hunter Safety is important folks! ANOTHER customer came in over the weekend with a broken foot and wrist from a fall while climbing out of his stand. He was lucky, have had many over the years that weren't. EVERYTHING can change in a second. Take the time and precautions to make your hunting experience a safe as possible. I'm planning on being here for years to come and hope to see you all every year. (And not on crutches)

Just a reminder with deer season starting Saturday. We no longer offer deer processing. We still offer all taxidermy services. We DO NOT have any place to clean or skin deer. If you need cleaning and/or processing services please call us @ 704-753-4868 during normal business hours and we can refer you to someone in your area.

Little update from OSB. Hope everyone is safe, sound and doing well(and well supplied with TP) I'm still in the shop daily working on projects as scheduled. Our suppliers are still doing business as usual with very little delays on materials. I do understand many out there have had their everyday life change in a major way and priorities may be different now than they were 6 months ago. With that being said if anyone needs to put their project on hold for a short time or even if they need to cancel it all together. Well after 20 seasons we've officially shut down the Deer processing side of One Stop Buck and will put all our efforts into the Taxidermy side of the business. And how fitting that this young man's harvest is the one we ended on. We've always prided ourselves on being a family business and a place families would go. This young man and his father having been coming here for years and I couldn't pick a better choice for my last one. This represents the future of the hunting industry, and how it's steeped in family traditions.

Been holding off putting this post out there. But this, our 20th deer season, will be our last year processing deer. We will continue on with taxidermy and are excited to be able to do so for 12 months out of each year, and not trying to get it all done in 7 1/2-8 months. We really appreciate everyone that has made One Stop Deer processing, the place it is. We've made a lot of truly wonderful friendships along the way and have had the privilege to meet some amazing people. I've seen those that have brought their children in when they've harvested their first deer, I've seen the excitement, pride and accomplishment on their faces, only to be surpassed 2 decades later when that child, now grown, brings their child in with their first harvest. I've been blessed to share in more of those memories and special moments than one could imagine. We are going to work hard over the summer and next deer season with some of the other processors in the area to try and find the best fit for everyone as possible. Please feel free to contact me over the summer to discuss your options. And as always
