Little baby Elsa made her way out of here yesterday! This sweet little girl loves all things people and cats. She makes friends with everyone who comes in and may have been one of our most notable escape artists. You could always find her trying to sit on shoulders or playing with the other kittens in the room. We are so happy for this girl and her new family which includes a kitty sibling! Congrats to our baby Elsa. Miss and love you so much little girl!

We had such a wonderful time last year and our kitties did too. $5 gets you all the supplies you need to build a purrfect gingerbread house then time in the cat room to share your creation. 🌟BIG NEWS🌟
After nine long months of waiting for her perfect people, Yoshi finally went home!!! I can’t tell you the relief and joy we feel that this amazing family was willing to give this girl a shot. They came in over the weekend after sadly losing one of their cats looking for a buddy for their younger cat. If you know Yoshi you know that’s her ideal situation. She is a cats cat through and through. People have always been a lot for her, especially if they don’t respect her personal space so she’s gravitated toward loving up on every cat who has been in the room with her. She will cuddle with any cat who will have her(and some that don’t want her lol) and loves to play too! She didn’t care for me much but I try not to take it personally… I did give her medicine and she’s never forgiven me 😂 There’s so much to say about this sweet girl but I’ll just leave it at this- It was an honor to give you a safe place to land so you could meet your forever family. We’re so proud of you baby girl! Congrats to Yoshi, number 136. Miss and love you so so much Yosh-Magosh!

*also, if you know Yoshi you know why she’s in her carrier… she gave us a run for our money getting her this morning. Yoshi going out in Yoshi style!

Keep your eye out for our furry friends from Four Footed Friends! All dogs are available for adoption. I think finding your forever friend during the magical light up night parade would make for a pretty great “meet - cute” to tell🤷🏼‍♀️🎄

135 for our fluffy guy Ezio! This sweet soul has overcome so much in his life before finding himself at the shelter and in his wonderful foster home. He was able to learn people are pretty great and can give good hugs and the best scratches. He’s been playful and sweet with everyone who visits but when his new family met him last week it was game over. He curled up in their laps and must’ve just known they’re his people. We are going to miss his sweet disposition but are so excited for his new life with kiddo and kitty siblings. Congrats Ezio! We miss and love you so much mister!

In and out of here in the blink of an eye, Chase is number 134! Since the moment he stepped out of his carrier and into our cat room Chase has been a force of cuddles, love, and affection. He also really loves to play, like a lot. He’s an orange cat through and through and he’s definitely going to be a big boy when he grows up. Chase’s people put in an app to get pre approved then come look. He stole their hearts almost instantly (mine too!). He’s going to make the perfect little brother to his new siblings and we’re so happy he’s going to a home perfect for his personality. Congrats Chase! Miss and love you so much dude!

Play Dungeons and Dragons with cats!

This Thursday from 6-8. If you have an existing character and can get it to level 3 you can bring that otherwise we will provide you with characters to choose from. This is a one shot event limited to 6 players to keep things moving. Cost is $8 per person for two hour access to the cat room where the game will be held. We can also provide dice and other materials you may need. Email us at [email protected]. This is a first come, first served event. We will take emails in order and I will post when the slots are filled. We’re looking to do this monthly so if you miss out now there will be other chances!

Toupee went home yesterday bringing our week total to 5 cats in 5 days and 133 total so far! What a wonderful week it’s been for kitties finding their forever homes and Toupee very much hit the jackpot with hers! Toupee’s mom has been visiting regularly since we opened and has been a wonderful supporter of what we do here. Over the last few visits Toupee made her impression and yesterday she made her way home with a new name and new kitty siblings. This cat is such a great mix of calm and playful. She made scooping litter a sport as we tried to keep her from climbing on us but she just wanted to snuggle our faces. Congrats on finding your perfect home little girl, miss and love you so much!!

Charity turned on her charm and found her forever family! She also went home yesterday right after Henry bringing our total to 132. This girl is so sweet, so snuggly, and such a good people cat. She made an immediate impact on her family with how sweet she was with their daughter and it’s so fun they get to grow up together. The final one left from her litter, we’re thrilled she found her perfect fit. Congrats Charity! Miss and love you so much little one!

Happy gotcha day to our guy Henry! There’s so much to say about this sweet guy. He loves other cats so much and wants to be best buddies with every kitten we get plus he’s always at the TV first when we put on bird videos. Henry has some vision impairment issues but he’s never let that hold him back. He’s one of the softest, most friendly cats we’ve had in the room and I’m so happy it’s finally his turn to head home! Congrats to number 131, Henry! Miss and love you so much dude!!
