O'Sullivan's Christmas Tree Farm O'Sullivans christmas trees We have trees , not a huge selection to cut , but we will have precut trees , 6-8 ft , the day after Thanksgiving.

A lot of new trees are in the process of growing . We have a large selection of wreaths and swags as well. HOURS :

*We open the day after Thanksgiving. Our hours that day are 8 am until dark.

*SATURDAYS and SUNDAYS- 8 am until dark
*Monday through Friday - 2 pm until dark

We offer pine centerpieces. Undecorated or custom like the ones you see below. They do not come with a candle, but they look great with one in the middle or even a glass hurricane vase with the candle. 🕯️

Next week we will be hosting an in person centerpiece/ holiday tablescape arrangement class here at the tree farm. Guests will leave with a circular decorated pine arrangement that they will make as well as fresh pine clippings to use on their holiday tables.

Another Christmas tree farm antique you will find in the wreath garage. 🎄

Proud to be able to say our farm is part of the “Christmas Tree Capital of the World.”

Here are some interesting facts about how Indiana, Pa claimed this title.

According to the Indiana County Christmas Tree Growers’ Association, the title of Christmas tree capital of the world arose in 1956, when an estimated 700,000 trees were cut that year in the county.

Some of the first Christmas tree farms in the United States started in Indiana County as early as 1918. Many farms in the region turned their fields into Christmas tree farms as it became profitable. By 1960, more than 1 million trees were harvested per year in Indiana County alone.

The harvest in Pennsylvania has declined for several reasons, including increased popularity of artificial trees and consumer interest in Frasier fir trees (Abies fraseri; which are native to the southern Appalachians and grows slower in Pennsylvania than farms in North Carolina). However, Pennsylvania is still among the top five states in terms of both number of working Christmas tree farms and trees harvested.

According to the National Christmas Tree Association, 31,577 acres in Pennsylvania are used as Christmas tree plantations. Many of the Christmas tree lots in southwestern Pennsylvania get their trees from farms in Indiana County.

Last nights group of ladies who had me over for the wreath workshop could have gotten jobs working at the Christmas tree farm. 🎄Their wreaths were all so beautiful and professional looking.

The ladies were so fun to be around- all very excited about the holidays and eager to craft their wreaths.

Join us for a wreath decorating workshop here at the Christmas tree farm.

The event will take place on December 11th from 6- 7:45 pm.

In addition to getting to decorate the wreath you will also learn how to make a bow.

Our Story

We grow and sell Christmas trees we are a family operated business. Tree types are Norway Spruce, Blue Spruce, Con color Fir and Frasier Fir. We also hand make wreaths, the primary material we make wreaths out of is Frasier fir and Con color fir the sizes available are 22”, 28’ and 46’ .
