With the ongoing heat wave, DO NOT forget about your furry friends! Did you know that concrete and asphalt surfaces are significantly hotter than the air temperature? With air temperatures exceeding 90 degrees throughout this week, the surfaces you walk your pets on will be as much as 40-60 degrees hotter. These hot surfaces will damage your pet's skin. You can test the pavement temperature by holding your hand on it for 7 seconds. If it's too hot for your hand, it is too hot for your pets. 🐾

Dr Yogi has worked 6 to 7 days a week without fail, 12 hours a day or more (minus a trip to visit family in December) for over 3 years. We are so happy that they are taking the time to have a family vacation this week.
