Hello,

As of August 1st, we will no longer be offering services. While we are sad to be closing our doors, we are excited to be welcoming another member to the family at the end of this year! As you can imagine, this is a physically strenuous job that isn't ideal during pregnancy. We appreciate all the support we have received and hope to be able to provide services again next year.

Are you SHEDDING me?

It's shedding season! Your dog may be losing (a lot) more fur than usual as their coat is becoming lighter to prepare for warmer weather ahead. Book a brush out with us so we can rid your pooch of all that extra winter fur. And remember, we take care of the clean up too! 😉

They were so accommodating. They are not professional groomers but they did an amazing job! Our dog is not great with strangers so taking her to a groomer for any services isn’t really an option. They were so great with our Bella! So kind and patient and they do great work!! Will definitely use them again!" - Mindy

This is our friend, Willow! She is a nervous girl who gets medication to help calm her before appointments. We are slowly working on being able to do a full nail trim on her. The first time around, we weren't able to do her nails at all because it was too overstimulating. This most recent time, with some patience (and lots of treats), we were able to do all her front feet! We love seeing the progress we are making with her and know that this is also creating a positive association for her in the future!

Our friend, Duke, posed so nicely for this picture! His parents have him on a regular schedule to get his nails trimmed and dremeled. Since he is 14 years old, it is getting more difficult to get him in to the vet to get his nails taken care of. His parents are so thankful that we are able to come to their home and take care of it quickly and at a time that is convenient for them! 🐾

In honor of the first day of Women's History Month, we wanted to do a fun interview that gives a little more insight in to us as business owners. We are so thankful for the women who paved the way for us to be able to pursue our passions.

"The Women Behind the Business"

How did the two of you meet and what inspired you to go into business together?

"We met the summer of 2017 at IndyHumane where we were both working as summer camp counselors. We were the oldest counselors there by a few years and fell in together immediately. We became best friends that summer and it has been that way ever since. Then we both had our daughters in 2021 and after taking some time off work we started toying with the idea of starting our own business. Once we realized there really was a market for people who wanted pet services performed at home we kicked things into gear and made it happen."

What does a typical day look like for you?

Lauren - "A typical weekday for me usually starts around 7am when my daughter Sylvia wakes up. I usually bring her into bed with me, where we snuggle and hangout for a short while, before we get dressed and ready for the day. I spend the day taking care of her and my 3 dogs until my husband gets home from work, around 5pm. Then my business day starts, I kiss the husband and baby goodbye, and I'm off to any appointments we have booked that evening. I get home from work a few hours later and we have dinner together, watch tv or a movie, and turn in for the night. Except that I'm up 2 or 3 times in the night when Sylvia wakes up. It's a little hectic but I love every minute of it!"

What is your favorite thing about being a business owner?

"Our favorite thing about being a business owner is that it feels truly empowering to take charge of our career. It gives us the flexibility in our schedule to still be able to do things outside of the business that we enjoy. Overall though, our favorite part is hearing from pet parents who are so pleased that their pet, who usually can't get out of the house to receive services for one reason or another, was able to get the care they need."

What is your dream for your business?

Jazmine - "The ultimate dream for the business would be having regular clients, a busy schedule with a few weeks booked in advance, and the satisfaction of knowing we are helping create stress free experiences for so many animals and owners. Our priority is (and always will be) the relationships we have between our clients and their beloved pets. ♥️"

Finished up a busy weekend! We enjoyed meeting so many new furbabies and humans. We did a brush out for a Great Pyrenees, lots of baths and nail trims, and helped get two Scottish Terriers ready to be adopted! Thank you to everyone who has continued to spread the word about our business. The attention has been overwhelming (in the best way) and we are so grateful!
