In case you wondered what it sounds like to trim a pig’s tusk…… It is painless and lasted about a second or two longer than this video. And really it likely made him feel better. He just wanted everyone within six counties to hear he was unhappy 🐷
Whoever is in charge of this page needs to make more animal posts!
I think that’s me sorry for lack of cute animals lately. Life just gets to busy sometimes.
Pig is enjoying some fresh cold water. Tried to give him a little spray down but he was not a fan. You would be surprised how fast these little guys can move.
It’s been a busy morning so I decided to take a break and work on Boone’s fetching skills.
He tried but we will have to practice more for sure.
They are currently working on a neighborhood right behind our pasture. Luckily we have a good amount of trees but it’s not keeping the noise down and the cows are not a huge fan of it. I’ve been checking fences daily but I make no promises the loud noises won’t startle them. If you see a cow out even if it’s not ours please do not approach it and seek help. We try to do out best to make sure everyone is safe and secure but loud noise will startle them.
Donks we’re not impressed with the guts from the pumpkins the kids carved last night. They may be spoiled by the whole ones they get all fall from all of you!
Also- if you listen closely at the beginning, you can hear Andrew belting out a certain Mariah Carey Christmas song already 😂😂😂
If you’re in Franklin township near the farm- watch your pets tonight! This was after we followed them off the property once.
The property behind ours is getting developed and there was a lot of activity with big equipment- I’m sure they were displaced in that- but it’s still scary to hear them so active so close to our barnyard.
Good morning sleepy head! Boone was having a hard time waking up this morning. Even Charlotte in the pasture didn’t bother him….every one else was already up and had walked back to the pond.
Apologies to our neighbors for last night and this morning. May has been screaming after her baby (Miriam) who had to go to the barn clinic overnight to treat an abscess. Miriam is doing better, but still needs to stay in to heal. May is not a fan.
Luckily, this guy was all attitude and no action tonight. I’m guessing he’s mad b/c we’re cutting back grain b/c the pasture is greening up. Or someone is in heat. Or I walked up too fast. Who knows? It’s still a little scary when an animal his size starts to show signs of aggression. Definitely a reminder of what he is and the respect he deserves! 🐂
When your done being milked but it’s been raining all day and your baby is crazy so you are just looking around for a reason to stay in the barn….
