Due to the nature of my medical condition and the projection of a lengthy recovery, I am unable to safely groom at this time. Unfortunately I will have to close Big Dog's Bathing Co. for the foreseeable future. All current appointments have been cancelled. I am hoping to be able to return in a few months and will reach out as soon as I can. Please continue to follow Big Dog's Bathing Co. on Facebook and Instagram for updates.

Right, so just the RHS then....

I wish it was something more fun, but here we are. 🤷🏼‍♀️

As some of you may know, I have been out for the last several days with what I thought was an episode of Bell's Palsy. However, yesterday I was diagnosed with Ramsay Hunt Syndrome; a condition where the shingles virus attacks the facial nerve causing facial paralysis, vertigo, and a terribly painful shingles rash in the outer ear. Because why settle for a rare condition when you could have a super rare condition...

Today is day 11 since my first symptoms, and I am starting to see some improvement. I was able to close my right eye fully for the first time in over a week! (Goodbye super cool eye patch!)

I am hoping to be able to get back to work in the next week or so, but do not have an exact return date at this time. I will keep everyone updated on availability as soon as I am able.

I greatly appreciate your prayers, patience, and understanding during this time. I miss you all so much and can't wait to get back to work as soon as the room stops spinning! 😉
