Elma has been at our shelter for almost 200 days. This sweet girl was found as a stray, so her past is a bit of a mystery, but her future is full of promise. Timid at first, Elma warms up quickly with gentle affection and is ready to be a loving companion in most homes. This sweet lady came to us with one goal in mind: to find a dog to shower with love. During her walkthrough, she spotted Eddy and immediately knew he was the one.
Her joy was infectious, and it was clear she was ready to give Eddy a loving home. She left with a big smile and her new pup, posing proudly in front of the poster our campers made for everyone who adopts!

🐾 100 Days of Love - Showcasing Our Long-Term Residents 🐾
Princeton has been at the shelter for over 600 days! He is very shy with new people, but once he warms up, he craves attention. Using baby talk and treats helps him meet new people. Because of his shyness, he would do best in a home without little kids under the age of 15.
Princeton already knows his main commands, is potty trained, and loves learning with treats. He lives for cuddles on the couch and walks. His foster family adores him and will be so happy to see him find his forever home.
Princeton does have some a little bit of separation anxiety; but who doesn't! He’s social with familiar people and very playful with other dogs. If you're looking for a loving and playful companion who enjoys being close to his human friends, Princeton might be your perfect match.

🐾 Adoption Success Story 🐾
A father-daughter duo came in specifically for Ace, excited and ready to bring him home. Even though we were out of cat boxes, they didn’t let that stop them. They quickly placed a hold on Ace, raced home to grab their carrier, and came back to complete the adoption process.
When asked if they’d like a photo, the father eagerly requested three—one with each of them alone with Ace and one with all of them together. It was such a sweet moment, and we’re thrilled that Ace has found a loving home!

Jinbe has been at our shelter for over 114 days. He enjoys watching out the windows and playing with his favorite toys, including catnip kickers and cardboard scratchers. He’s a fan of ear scratches but will let you know when he’s had enough and prefers to sit beside you.
Jinbe is a curious, independent, and mellow cat. He’s playful with toys but enjoys attention without being overly demanding. Jinbe likes to perch higher up or snuggle under the window. He's good with other cats and his best friend's name is Louis. He's not too fond of being picked up or having his nails trimmed.

This couple has adopted a pup from us in the past, that had lived 16 beautiful years before crossing the rainbow bridge. When they saw Jasmine on our website, they knew it was the right time to adopt again, and wasted no time coming in. They arrived right when we opened, determined to take her home.
With a pampered and spoiled life ahead, Jasmine has found her perfect forever home! 💕

🐾 Adoption Success Story: Lloyd's New Beginning! 🐾
A kind patron came in, took a look around, and showed interest in Lloyd. He asked many questions, wanting to ensure Lloyd would be comfortable at his new home. He mentioned a sunroom where Lloyd could roam freely, along with a big yard to play in. The patron placed a hold on Lloyd and promised to bring his wife the next day.
When they came back, they met Lloyd outside, and his wife immediately agreed to take home our lovable pup. Lloyd will now live in a calm, spacious home, visited occasionally by grandchildren who will shower him with extra love and playtime.
We're overjoyed for Lloyd and his new family! 🐶💕

🐾 100 Days of Love - Showcasing Our Long-Term Residents 🐾
Terry has been at our shelter for over 174 days! He is an adorable boy who loves to be close to his human friends. He is extremely loving and would do well in most homes. Terry enjoys walking, playing with toys, laying outside in the sun, and participating in whatever activities you like to do!
Terry was found as a stray by some good humans, and they mentioned that he did well with their dogs. We always recommend very slow introductions, keeping food and toys separate until all are comfortable together.
Terry has a skin allergy that he will need to treat for life. Ask our staff how to do this! He just needs a special brand of food and treats to eat, which is no big deal. Please open your heart and your home, and come say hi to Terry—he can’t wait to meet you!

An older man and his daughter came into our shelter looking for a new companion after losing their beloved dog last December. They had been searching for the perfect match and found Avery online. Intrigued, they decided to come in for a meet and greet.
The moment they met Avery, it was love at first sight! The bond was instant, and they fell even more in love with him in person. It was a heartwarming experience, and everyone, including Avery, left with a smile on their face.

A 5-year-old Samson is a classic German Shepherd! Despite his rough past, Samson is steadily building his confidence with our staff through dedicated training.

🐾 Adoption Success Story: Popeye Finds His Family! 🐾
A family came in, eager to find a furry friend. Though they had to wait for Popeye to be neutered, their excitement didn't wane. When we called to let them know Popeye was ready, the lady’s voice softened with joy, and she immediately said she was on her way.
When they arrived, we greeted them and assisted with the final steps. Once all the paperwork was done, one of our camp counselors shared a cute poster made by our campers, asking the family to pose for pictures with their new buddy. They happily obliged, and the lady even asked me to take a picture on her phone.
The family left with huge smiles, touched by how much Popeye was loved here and promising to give him even more love in his forever home. 🐶💕

I’m Robbie, a 9-year-old with a young spirit! I love playing fetch and soaking up attention from my people. While I might take a little time to warm up, I’m loyal and affectionate once we’re close.
In my recent foster home, I enjoyed basking in the sun and trying to outsmart the neighborhood squirrel. I’m also a champion snoozer—my foster dad says my snoring is cute!

One day, a mother and son visited the shelter, looking for the perfect pup to join their family. They immediately fell in love with Frosty after seeing her joyfully interacting with the other dogs. This wonderful couple came in looking for a puppy, initially having their eyes on another puppy. They decided to look around a bit more and stumbled upon Jadore. They decided to give her a chance and did a meet and greet. It was the cutest thing ever! Jadore was chasing everyone, wanting pets and kisses, and she sat prettily for everyone. When one of the adopters laid down, Jadore immediately nestled on top of him. His partner said, "He fell in love; it's a done deal, we are taking her."
It was a happy ending for everyone, with Jadore wagging her tail so much out of pure happiness. We're thrilled that Jadore found her forever home with such a loving couple!
