I’ve seen an increase in the amount of dogs coming into the shelter due to the death of their owner. It’s absolutely heartbreaking. 💔 Not only have they lost their owner, but their entire world is turned upside down! They deserve better than sitting in an overcrowded shelter.

HAVE A PLAN FOR THEM!

Sadly, Lilly Ann’s owner didn’t have a plan for her. She wound up at the shelter, living in a crate, terrified. She’s safe with us & will be hanging out here for a few days until she heads to rescue.

I will say it again, HAVE A PLAN so your pets don’t end up in the shelter alone, confused, and terrified.

He sits and waits.
He's waiting for you to come get him.
A second, a minute, an hour, a day, a month, a year --- he's waiting for you.
He doesn’t know why, but he’s waiting because he trusts you, because unlike you, he loves you.
Listen up well then. Your animal is not a toy.
Think twice before getting a pet. You have the responsibility of a living being and of a family member.
