🌸 Sanctuary Rabbit Sunday Spotlight 🌸

Meet Armand, Keaton, and Ruby — three cherished elder rabbits living their golden years in the loving care of IHRS. 💕 Because of their age and ongoing medical needs, they’ll remain sanctuary residents, receiving all the comfort and care they deserve.

All three rely on daily meloxicam to manage pain and inflammation, and each needs routine blood work to keep their health stable. They have an important vet appointment coming up this Saturday, November 7, where their caregivers will check their blood values and refill their medication.

💊 A two-month supply of meloxicam costs about $400, and with three buns relying on this essential medicine, the costs add up quickly. Your donations make it possible for them to stay pain-free and happy. 🩺🐇

🐰 Striker Needs Your Help! 🐰

Meet Striker — our resilient foster rabbit who was found as a stray and is now safe in foster care. Striker has a spinal injury that causes his nerves to fire unpredictably, and a wonky knee that can’t be helped by surgery due to the spinal issues.

But Striker doesn’t let any of that stop him — check out his binkies in the videos! He’s full of life, joy, and sass. 🩵

To keep him comfortable, Striker receives daily pain management with meloxicam, gabapentin, and gentle Assisi Loop therapy. These Assisi Loops provide targeted, non-invasive pain relief and are essential to his care.

🔁 Here’s the ask:
Striker’s current Assisi Loop has nearly reached the end of its 180-use lifespan, and we urgently need to replace it. The cost for a new 10cm loop is $263.00 (currently on sale on Amazon).
💸 Can you chip in a few dollars to help us buy a new one for him? Every little bit helps!

📣We have incredible news 📣

We reached our goal of 25 adoptions or new foster homes! This is a huge achievement — and such a clear reminder of what a compassionate and mobilized community can accomplish when we all work together for the rabbits. 🐇🐰🥰💕

This means that , , , , &Bandit, # , , , , , and are now safe in foster homes as our newest intakes.
