I’ve really enjoyed raising quail. I love the eggs and enjoyed sharing them with everyone. With life changes I’m going to get out of the quail business I have a bunch of birds that are laying daily. If anyone is interested purchasing bird please let me know!

Hello for those that purchase our chicken eggs from our farm stand. We unfortunately have to raise our chicken eggs to $4 a dozen. Our quail eggs are still $5 a dozen. Thank you we appreciate everyone support.

Good morning, wanted to share new build. I’m not a carpenter by any means but I do enjoy building things. I have learned that with each build my design improves This cage setup has automatic waters. This will save me a bunch of time.

It has been a busy couple of days at the homestead! Our Quail eggs have hatched and our meat chickens arrived.

One of the most rewarding things about having your own little homestead is seeing that your hard work and effort pays off. It’s about being self-sufficient and being able to supply your family with meat, eggs or whatever you raise. You have to be willing to take a little risk, put in a little sweat and blood. You also must understand that you will make mistakes along the way! Learn from them and you will do great things!!! These are baby chicks that we incubated from our own chickens. We love watching the entire process from egg to chicken. We haven’t had any loss and they all are very healthy. Much better than buying them from one of the local stores. They are a Jersey giant mixes with barred rock and ISA browns! We love to help those that are wanting to raise their own eggs, meat chickens, rabbits and/or quail. I have been working on new chicken coop. The coop is made out of pallet’s and pallet boards it’s 7x12. I really enjoy building things. I’m not a great carpenter but I do seem to get better with each addition. coop
