Sarah here with way too many, but mostly exciting, updates!

🔹Chloe and her partner Tony welcomed their second child on 3/13 💖👩‍🍼 She will be returning in late April.
🔹In May we will be extending our hours to fit in more appointments each week.
🔹We have a new assistant starting this week, Nicole!! She will be taking over most of the front of house and messaging/booking.
🔹We are going through several major upgrades at the salon! To keep in line with our dedication to providing the safest, healthiest, fastest, and best quality grooming experience we are installing new clipper vac system, new tool/surface/floor sanitizing equipment, new bathing system, new lower table for our aging dog clients, and so much more!!
🔹After almost 2 years we have finally updated our pricing again! All currently booked(and pending) appointments rates will be honored. New pricing and new services are live now at www.purrsnips.com when you go to Book Now.

** POLICY & PRICING UPDATE **
(effective now)

Over the last three years we have grown a lot as a business and as of recently are booming with new customers!

As many of you may have noticed, we are booked out for about 6 weeks or so with our next availabilities in early to late summer. We do have a cancellation list and we stay on top of that. Please know that we are doing everything in our power to open up new time slots and hire on new groomers. (Did you know cat groomers are not easy to find?)

We specialize in non sedated, 1 on 1 cat grooming and are kennel free. This means that we only groom one cat or multi cat family in the salon at a time. With this style of service, not only are cancelations and late drop offs/pick ups a huge inconvenience to us and our other customers, they are a financial hit to our groomers, assistants and the salon in general.

In an effort to help get everyone through in a timely fashion and also to reflect our work more accurately, we have updated our policies and procedures as well as our prices.
IF YOU HAVE ALREADY BOOKED YOUR APPOINTMENT YOU WILL BE CHARGED THE PRICE YOU BOOKED FOR (if the updated price for your service was lowered, you will pay the lowered price)

We want to make it clear that this is a restructure and NOT a general price increase. While some services did increase in price, other services have lowered and a lot have remained the same. These prices and policies are effective currently.

A HUGE takeaway from this is that we have upgraded our tub and raised the size limit for dogs up to 150 # ! (DOODLES WELCOME!)

Are you looking to groom fewer dogs per day and still make great $? Hate answering phones and dealing with walk-in services? Do lots of dogs barking drive you barkin’ mad?
PurrSnips is designed to keep the grooming process stress-free for all pets and employees. We groom every pet 1:1, start-to-finish and without kenneling. Pets are dropped off at appointment time and picked up promptly, so there aren’t pets underfoot all day. Minimum haircut price is $80 for 10lbs dog. W-2, with weekly pay and direct deposit. Employee discount on all retail.
- $15-$17/hr + 15%-20% commission (performance and experience based)
- PTO available after 90 days
- Must provide own personal grooming tools
- Able to groom all breeds and sizes
- Need to groom 4 dogs/day minimum
- Days available Sunday, Monday, Friday
- Ability to groom cats is a bonus but not a requirement

We love supporting our local vendors since we, of course, are a local business ourselves!

All of our retail is in the lobby as we give one on one grooming sessions and keep that completely separate from our products.

No experience required. I’m looking for a self-motivated individual to take care of basic office and salon tasks. This will include, but not be limited to: answering the phone, booking appointments, replying to messages, returning voicemails, taking appointment notes, taking pictures, updating customer profiles, sweeping, sanitizing, prepping for next client, mixing shampoo, laundry, refilling supplies, taking customer payment and occasionally assisting with grooms.

Must be willing to work with and handle cats and dogs.

The schedule I'm looking to fill is Tuesday through Saturday: 9:30a - 5:30p
