Don’t be afraid to communicate with your fellow members at the dog park!
If there is a dog fight or if there is something happening that makes you feel uncomfortable, please talk to the other owner. The number one complaint that we get is when something happens at the park, the other owner does not ask if the pup/owner is okay. Saying “I’m sorry” or “Are you okay?” goes a long way!
Our pups can be unpredictable at times but our job is to take responsibility and ensure our fellow neighbors are okay when something happens.
Our dog park has a double entrance to get into either the small or large dog park. Please don’t whirl through both gates at once! Enter the first gate with the code and then take a pause. If there are a ton of dogs welcoming you, feel free to enter the small dog park off leash and let the pups sniff it out between the fence before walking through the middle entrance. This allows the pups to get use to each other.
No one at the dog park? Well whirl right through! The goal is to minimize dog fights as soon as a pup enters the park.

We interrupt your Monday Morning coffee for MANNERS MONDAY! This week we want it to be about paying attention while at the Dog Park.
Dog parks (esp ours) are awesome and we’ve met many friends/neighbors in the area but remember that your pup is off leash. Always know where your pup is and what they are up to! This way you’ll know when they have pooped or if trouble is brewing. You know your pups best and sometimes recalls don’t work if they are already in trouble.
We love when our members are making friends and we highly encourage it! Exchange numbers or walk on over together to many of our small business in @bateshendricks like @1718bhhb or @lincolnlanecoffeeco!
And that ends Manners Monday! Next weeks feature will be “Paws Before you enter”
