Remember, AKC is not like HRC . You must pre-register to run the event. There are no walk ups.

The other local retriever club has an upcoming training day

DECEMBER 14 2024 TRAINING DAY DETAILS!!!!

TCRC Policy: Pre-register to get the $5 Per Dog Rate. It’s $20 Per Dog if you show up without pre-registering first! You can still pay on the day of the event with Cash or Check if you choose, but you must still pre-register online to get the $5 per dog rate.

Our next TCRC training day will be at Yellow Dog Ranch on 11-2-24 at 8:30 AM.

Our training setup will be designed to be flexible. If you want to run AKC style or HRC style that is perfectly fine. You can choose when you come to the line. Please bring your own poppers and duck call if you want to run HRC style.

Attendees are expected to take turns working the wingers and/or helping with set-up and tear-down for the day. If you’ve never done it before, it’s OK, we will show you what to do. It’s easy and gives you a new vantage point from the field that will help you to be a better handler!

Please remember that, due to liability insurance reasons for the landowner, you must be up to date on your 2024/25 membership to train your dog at the club training day.
Membership is $35/year for single membership (1 vote), and $45/year for family membership (2 votes). You can get a membership online at www.TreasureCoastRetrieverClub.com/Membership

As always, bring your own drinks, water for your dogs, snacks, chairs, umbrellas, etc.

There has been a lot of question about our event…

Due to Hurricane Milton, and the effects on our area and the areas of our judges and board members, we have decided to cancel our event.

This was not an easy decision.

Everyone was refunded electronically.

We will post about our cancellation throughout the week in hopes for everyone to see it.

It breaks my heart, but we have decided to cancel our hunt test next weekend.

With 🌀 Milton fast approaching we feel like this is the best call. Even though our location isn’t directly in the path of the storm, We have too many board members who are. As well as many of our judges that are directly in the path.

We anticipate central Florida to be without power, fuel & supplies for at least a week. And we think it’s unfair to ask for anyone to come down here when they have more important things to worry about.

Everyone who pre signed up will be electronically refunded to the card they paid their entries on.

If you are still available to run a test that weekend, we highly recommend contacting the SOWEGA HRC hunt test (the same weekend). It’s always one of our favorite events.

This is very unfortunate for the club. As it’s always been one of our favorite tests to attend.

However, if you were planning on running just for passes on your dogs, and not grand prep, check out our test on Hunt Secretary. We still have PLENTY of spots in Started, Seasoned & Finished.
