Last Wednesday’s Bat Inspection: Lots of construction gaps, mortar issues, and holes in the brick. This home had a recent remodel: new gutters,facia board, metal soffits, trim/flashing, siding,and a new roof. We found many points of entry: construction gaps, holes, and openings left by the contractor. This has led to fairly large bat colony invading the attic space. The bats are leaving f***s/urine while they hang upside down and sleep during daylight hours. Usually at the highest point of the attic. This f***s is very prominent and leaves huge health and safety concerns for the residents residing inside. This home will need a remediation off the attic due to the amount of sanitation and health concerns.

Thursdays bat inspection. 😊When you have a colony of bats living and returning this spring you must be preparing for no re entry. Sealing the main point of entry is not enough for these pest.
