Leilani Christina of Bates Great Danes 🌺

When we lost Hera, we were offered to co own this perfect baby and there’s not a chance we could say no that wrinkly face 🥺 Leilani is a blue brindle, full European baby with such an amazing pedigree from Bates Great Danes in Texas!

Her litter name was already Christina, which is the name of my great grandmother who recently passed. Her nickname will be Lani, also happens to be her first mamas nick name. My dream dog has been a brindle, European Dane. Just makes it feel extra meant to be 💗

Merry Christmas from all our babies here! This year, we’re thankful our old girl is still with us after her cancer diagnosis. We’re definitely missing our sweet Boujee girl. We’re so thankful for the health of our other babies & excited about the ones we’ve added this year. We appreciate all of our puppy families, past & present, and we’re grateful for all the support we’ve been shown along the way!

We have this sweet boy from our Boujee/Apollo litter still available! If you don’t remember, this guy is the only one from his litter that survived and has grown beautifully! He has the same loving, energetic personality as his mama Boujee and he’d make the perfect addition to any family. Since he’s been inside with us, he’s started potty training, crate training and leash training. He’s not a pro at them but he’s off to a great start! Such a hard post for us to make, we will miss our Boujee so much 💔

GDV (bloat) is so horrible. Please know the warning signs and if you think your dog may be experiencing them, get emergency help as soon as possible. Things to look for are: swollen abdomen, vomiting/attempts of vomit with no success, excessive drooling, restlessness, panting or rapid breathing, not being able to stand and an overall look of distress. Boujee was taken to the vet as soon as these symptoms appeared and received emergency surgery but unfortunately the damage was already done and we lost this beautiful girl the day after her procedure. You can have a gastropexy (stomach tacking procedure) preformed on your dog to help buy extra time to get them help if this occurs. It’s typically done during their spay/neuter if requested. There are always risks with any procedure so be sure to research and consult with your vet.

We are so grateful for Kittrell Animal Hospital for acting fast to get a diagnosis, working so hard to save Boujees life and giving her the best care.

Rest In Peace, Boujee. She offered our family so much love and will missed immensely 🖤

It’s been a hard few days here. We welcomed Boujees babies Wednesday, earlier than anticipated. We had 4 preemie babies and despite our very best efforts, we lost three precious girls. This sweet boy is our only surviving pup from the litter 🥺 He’s a strong boy and we have really high hopes for him! Boujee is one of our very best mamas and our hearts are just broken for her. She’s doing well considering the week she’s had and she’s getting some very well deserved rest!

We had another litter of 3 boys on Thursday & all those babies are doing great! We will post photos of them soon! We will have 2 puppies from that litter available in addition to this little guy (once we feel comfortable)!

Boujee Boo has an ultrasound appointment tomorrow to hopefully confirm pregnancy 🤞🏻 She went with our boy, Blue so we’ll expect some gorgeous European solid blues & blacks! If all goes to plan, we’ll open her waitlist tomorrow & start accepting deposits so be sure to reach out to join! You can always message me here but for a quicker response, texting is best (919-495-9201)!

With all the fun stuff being said, I’d like to mention a few things that’ll change going forward:

-We will no longer accept any payment plans after the pups leave. If you’d like to pay as you go prior to your puppy leaving, you’re welcome to do so but the balance will need to be paid in full by 7 weeks.

-After the puppy leaves, we will send out reminders for vaccinations. It is extremely important for your puppy to be kept up to date on their vaccine schedule. Vaccinations keep your puppy protected & safe from becoming extremely sick. We really can’t stress the importance of this enough.

-We would really prefer to have the balance of the puppy paid by 7 weeks. There’s a lot that goes on during pickup and it can sometimes feel like information overload going over microchip info, registration, contracts & vet records so that’ll be one less thing to worry about. We also live in an area that doesn’t have the greatest phone service so that sometimes makes paying electronically a little difficult.

We hope these few tweaks are understandable! We are so grateful to everyone who has ever taken home one of our puppies over the years. This business isn’t always the easiest to be in & can be very taxing so small changes are sometimes necessary to make the flow of things a little easier 🐾

***UPDATE: I want to thank everyone who reached out and expressed interest in giving Cain a new, loving home! I’m happy to say that she has been placed with a wonderful family! She has lots of room to run & play and she even gained herself some new fur siblings!***

Hi guys, meet Cain 💗

Cain was returned to us over the weekend. Her previous family was no longer able to keep her due to changes with their living situation. Cain is 7 months old (born 2/11/22), she is potty trained, does well in her crate, knows basic commands. She gets along very well with our children and our other dogs. She is a little nervous meeting new people but it doesn’t take her too long to warm up. She’s came out of her shell over the past few days and is a very friendly, sweet girl!

We’d like to start the process of helping her find her new home. I do think she would adjust well to any family (single, kids, other fur siblings, etc). She will be placed in a pet only home. She’s up-to-date on vaccinations & heart worm prevention. If you’d like have more information on this beauty, please reach out via text! 919-495-9201. A rehome fee will apply.
