Peaches is a new addition for Rachel and she brought peaches in to meet us! Although we’ve never met peaches, peaches, Aunt made us this beautiful stain glass for Christmas and we thank you Rachael for gifting us with a new patient and this wonderful gift! MERRY CHRISTMAS!

It is hard for us to believe that finally the drama of 2024 is over and we can finally celebrate the holidays with family and friends.

Merry Christmas and happy new year. Our hours are included to keep your pets healthy and happy, and always remember to contact the emergency services in Corpus Christi for 24 hour care if you are unable to reach our services. We thank each and every one of you for the loyalty and trust we have created together in 2024 for our most famous family members whether feathered or fur, they are the best part of our lives!

These were two of the cutest little patients I had to “fix” today and with their owners permission , I wanted to share them with all of you!

My favorite cat is the orange male, as you know, most of them are male with only about 20 percent being female. They are courageous, sweet, and loyal.

My grandmother loved her orange males and would always call them minou to come up and eat, “ minou minou minou” or kitty kitty kitty. Her native tongue was French and she instilled in me a respect for these orange soulful animals!

Both of these patients were wonderful from
start to finish and their humans are lucky to have them. I couldn’t help but shoot this photo of them being apprehensive. Can you blame them?

To the men and women of the armed forces, both past and present, we salute you for your service to our great nation and to each and every American . You have given your freedoms up to protect every American.

Happy Veterans Day!!!

Have you all come in to meet Doctor Cale?

I was on my way to the airport today to head out of town, and I met another OSU grad, in veterinary medicine. Corpus Christi’s own Demarious Frey, who recently lost her beloved husband Martin Frey, two veterinarians that embodied all that the profession professes to be, and recently we lost doctor Martin. In all the restaurants in all of Corpus Christi, I picked the one she and her son were in, and the winds of wonder were heavy in the air, full moon moments, Godly moments!

Doctor Cale and Demarious are both OSU grads, Demarious being a trail blazer in the field for women, before the word glass ceiling was even invented. She is a powerful spirit, who also worked for Ingleside Animal Hospital as well!

God bless Demarious Frey! ❤️

We apologize for the meet and greet thing by Facebook, that isn’t anything that I did but then again intelligence is now artificial. Sure sorry about that but Dr. Cale is going to be meeting and greeting appointments this afternoon, Dr. Ricky is on his way to an LSU ball game and thank everyone of you for allowing this to happen.

Dr. Cale Thomasson is originally from Rockwall, Texas, where she grew up with an older sister and a few family pets. She played soccer and basketball as well as was very active in 4-H and FFA raising and showing hogs throughout her school years. She enjoyed travelling to state and national shows all year long where she met many lifelong friends.

After high school, Dr. Thomasson earned a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources Animal Science from Oklahoma State University in 2019. Dr. Thomasson also earned her DVM from Oklahoma State University in 2022. She tracked mixed animal medicine better preparing her to serve patients large and small. Her time at Oklahoma State University has given her the best memories, allowed her to make many lifelong best friends, and taught her to serve her patients with the utmost care, respect and love. It also fostered her passion for reproductive medicine, preventative medicine and bringing veterinary care to areas of need.

When Dr. Thomasson is not working she enjoys offshore fishing with her husband, Zach. Her favorite fish to catch include red snapper, king mackerel, dorado and sharks. She also loves to read a good book and spend time playing with her two dogs, Ranger and Paisley.

Dr. Thomasson has decided to join Ingleside Animal Hospital to embark on her third year as a graduate veterinarian and it couldn’t be a better gift for all of us here than to have her smiling face every single day in the office. If you haven’t met her, come on in to meet her or book an appointment today. If you have been hoping to find the right fit for you, Doctor Cale will fill those shoes. Please help us in congratulating her accomplishments and welcoming her to Ingleside!

TURTLEY AWESOME! 🐢

Dr. Broussard was able to help Michealangela, the female red ear slider, when she got a hook stuck in her mouth. Michealangela was treated and then returned to the wild after she was cleared.

May your pets and people be safe during this time, remember to give thanks for all we have been given, and even though we are all having Harvey flashbacks, this isn’t Harvey. I think we have dodged a bullet and I think we intend to be here tomorrow to service your needs as you exit town to the safety of our neighbors North and West.

Unfortunately, we cannot board any pets for this storm, or any storm in the event that we too have to evacuate with our pets in tow as well.

May the Lord Bless you and keep , may He make His face shine upon you! You and your pets mean the world to us at IAH, and we will be hoping for all of your safe exit, and safe return. GODSPEED
