🏖Those beach days are right around the corner, are you thinking of taking your pet along for the fun? Be sure to keep these safety tips in mind!

Acclimate gradually: Start with short visits and gradually increase the time spent out on the beach
Leash up: Always keep your pet on a leash, especially in crowded areas or near wildlife.
Clean up after your pet: Dispose of waste responsibly to maintain a clean and safe beach environment.
Never leave your pet unattended: Even for a short time as overheating can occur quickly
Monitor your pet closely: Keep an eye on your pet's behavior and watch for any signs of distress.

We are keeping a close eye on the weather but as of now, no changes to our hours of operation - we are open until 10:00 pm today. If you do have any concerns for your pets, we advise acting on it sooner than later! We will keep everyone posted if we need to close early for safety concerns, thanks all!

Meet Dr. Jon! As one of our dedicated veterinarians, Dr. Jon is proud to serve our clients through both our urgent care and our general practice partner, Paws in Paradise Animal Hospital. Additionally, you may see him at Alaqua Animal Refuge helping with spay/neuter initiatives for local adoptions. Dr. Jon loves surgery, ultrasonography, and providing access to care for the clients and pets of this region!
