This little one is looking for a home. She is 11 weeks old as of 6/10. She is crated at night without any accidents and we are working on house breaking. I never thought I’d say this about a rodent, but this squirrel has stolen my heart. It’s amazing how smart, playful, loving, and interactive she is.

Kiwi, our Black Shepherd, is due to have puppies in about 3 weeks.

Kiwi brought a new baby home at the end of August. We have been extremely busy adjusting to our new life needless to say. She came home with a baby squirrel. Eyes still closed, we weren’t sure if it would make it or not. When she made to through the week we named her Sandy Cheeks and she part of the family now. She is not afraid of any of our Shepherds. The dogs have learned to be gentle with her. We are all finally adjusting to things around here. Hopefully we will be getting back to business soon. Here are a few pictures from day one at about 3 weeks old to present.
