I have pretty much retired from portrait photography, but when your firstborn is finally a senior, you pull out all the stops! As her mom, I get to take all the pictures!!! So without further ado, Aliza Kjersten Hagel, Class of 2023! Looking back at these makes me wish I could slow down time, as it seems like May was so long ago now. She truly brought out all the beauty in the spring florals, and I can't wait to see her fall session!

Ohhhh....it's that time of year at the Grape Soda house! I know I don't share as much as I use to, but I am here to give all my Halloween Lovers the content that will make their creepy souls swoon. Do you remember Miss A? The beautiful baby girl that got Grape Soda Started....well she's practically grown up and a lover of all things creepy. I think she nailed her Halloween costume....what do you think?

P.S....she's nine and sat through 2+ hours of makeup with me this evening...seriously, she's a rockstar!

Wonderful words from my dear friend 💜

I’m not going to lie. It’s incredibly hard for me to separate what’s going on in this country from the work I do as a photographer. It’s hard to be cheerful at a shoot and keep your client comfortable when you feel all emotional. At the same time being out taking pictures of people living their lives is weirdly therapeutic. Maybe it’s because most of us feel helpless.
Find a way to grieve but also care for yourselves.

As a photographer shooting an engagement session is one of my favorite things to do. I love all the smiles, kisses and above all giggles. I always ask one of them to whisper something dirty to other, and the reactions are so great, just like this one!

Mother nature had her way today in Minnesota, sessions rescheduled because of all this snowy weather! I figured mine as well make the best of it and go outside and play with the Grape Soda Kiddos! They love the fresh snow, and are still out there, I had to retreat for the warm house <3

Andrew and Sarah's first look was just something else, we had to shoo away their wedding party many a time, but I think they will totally enjoy why now! I just love these two to pieces, and this past Saturday was the perfect day to say "I do"! <3

Jenna and Erik's wedding was just something else yesterday! I had such an amazing time capturing the love they share, and all the support they had! These guys and gals were so excited they couldn't keep their feet on the ground!

Briana and Porter had the best wedding party like ever, and they couldn't help but jump for joy for the both of them!!!!
