To get the best results from using PEMF, ideally be used regularly over several sessions.

One session is good, but regular sessions will help cells rejuvenate and stay healthy so that they can carry out their necessary functions. And healthy cells reduce the chance of injury and ill health, and also slows down the natural aging process.

That makes for a happy 🐴!

There is no trip charge for appointment locations within 1 hour from Inverness and up to 2 hours with a $95 trip charge round trip.

What to Expect in a PEMF Treatment Session for dogs.

PEMF has the ability to pass through fur, skin, bandages, and bone.

The dog simply has to lie on the PEMF bed and the PEMF penetrates deep into the joints and muscles. PEMF treatments are great for dogs who do not want to be touched since they simply have to lay and relax.

Most treatments last either 30 or 60 minutes depending on the condition being treated.

What is PEMF?

PEMF is short for Pulsed Electromagnetic Field Therapy and is used to treat animals such as horses and dogs (which is what I treat). PEMF devices create a pulsing electromagnetic field through the animal which provides impact at a cellular-level. It can be used as preventative care and effectively treat a wide variety of conditions.

Hi! And welcome! 👋

I'm Kara.

My love of horses started when I was just 6 year old. Throughout my schooling I was active in barrel racing, western and later dressage.

After completing the Horse Management Program at Michigan State University and my Associates Degree in Agricultural Technology, I accepted an Equine Veterinary Tech position in California. I worked closely with DVM’s on the Arabian Circuit and traveled extensively throughout the U.S. Westcoast and Canada. I then moved to a Surgical Veterinary Tech position for performance horses at San Luis Rey Equine Hospital in Bonsall, CA.

Now I want to bring the benefits of PEMF treatment to horses and dogs! I set up Athlete's Choice to be able to do exactly that and am excited to meet horse and dog owners in the Inverness area.
