The Cat's Voice WV is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that is dedicated to control the overpopulation of animals. https://linktr.ee/thecatsvoicewv

The Cat's Voice WV is a volunteer and foster based rescue. We operate through donations from the general public and the generosity of our volunteers. We are a rescue that is dedicated to giving every cat – feral or friendly – a chance at a good life. We consider ourselves a rehab rescue and dedicate time and resources to getting our cats healthy and adopted into loving homes.

Georgie came to us from another shelter where she was there for over a year she is FIV positive. Georgie wonderful foster noticed that she was looking unkept and she was having a hard time eating. She went to Hillside Vet and received antibiotics and needs a dental which will be tomorrow.

As most people know The Cat’s Voice WV takes difficult/expensive cases and we need everyone’s help.

Update: We won’t get the results back for his Echocardiogram for about 2 weeks and he has a recheck in 2 weeks and that is when they will repeat his bloodwork. His dental is on hold until then so we know he will make it through anesthesia.

Lambchop is at Hillside Vet today getting an Echocardiogram and more bloodwork. He is one of the cats that were pulled from the house when the owner passed away. Lambchop was the last one that came out of the house alive. Lambchop has a few issues he is an older gentleman and he is showing issues with his heart this is why we are doing the Echocardiogram today.

Lambchop maybe in renal failure his last bloodwork was night good he has been on special kidney food. Lambchop was alone a few weeks in the house with the other cats with no food or water and it shuts down cats organs, so when we repeat the bloodwork today this will tell us what damage has been done.

Lambchop also needs a dental to remove his remaining teeth depending on the results of his other tests.

As most people know The Cat’s Voice WV takes difficult/expensive cases and we need everyone’s help.

✨ Lei Update! ✨
We’re thrilled to share that Lei is making amazing progress in her FIP treatment! Her lab work on 10/2 showed noticeable improvements, and she’s continuing to grow stronger each day. Her next checkup is scheduled for 11/5, and with just 20 days left of treatment, we’re so hopeful for her full recovery.

A huge thank you to Dr. A at Hillside Veterinary Hospital, whose quick diagnosis and care helped save her. ❤️ Her brothers and mom are also doing well, showing no signs of FIP, which we are incredibly grateful for.

Thank you to everyone who has supported Lei and her journey! 🐾

Jadis came to us when the owner passed away. She has cysts in her mouth that need to have a biopsy on her during her dental procedure. She is approximately five years old. We are guessing her and the other cats were in the house for about3 weeks.

Update: Her Test results came back she is unfortunately positive for Feline Leukemia so we are positive her siblings are as well

Candy Corn was pulled from Berkeley County Humane Society WV along with her 3 siblings because they all tested positive for Felv. Candy Corn is going to Hillside to have a QPCR Test done to determine if she truly has Leukemia. Many prayers are needed.

Meet Peanut (tabby with white) and Tator Tot! Peanut and Tator Tot are 4-month-old brothers. They both love to play and enjoy eating treats, especially Churus. Tator Tot likes to play in his water dish and hide in things that are like caves, such as the edge of a blanket or pillow. He will jump up and sit in a lap. Tator Tot is very gentle and sweet. Peanut is a little bit more timid, but he's always happy to come for a treat. Like his brother, Peanut is also very gentle and sweet. He is usually too busy to sit in a lap, except when he's tired. Peanut and Tator Tot get along fine with all the other cats in the house. They run around the house chasing each other like little wild horses. Interested in Peanut and/or Tator Tot?
