Cat breeding is basically p**p. As per usual we do litter boxes 3-4x per day. Many many litter boxes. Most cats prefer a clean litter box so they poo immediately following the scooping, or during the scooping. Kittens supervise while scooping and like to claw at the plastic bag… that’s fun. Someone threw up a hairball this morning as well. Probably our rescue kitty… it looks calico and she loves a good hairball. For some reason I thought we needed puppies. Dachshunds are tough to potty train and need to go out every 30 min. THEN to add to the fun I was out with the chickens throwing them scratch. Somehow the entire metal bowl flew out of my hands (because I have talent) into the mucky part of the run. I delicately tromped over to retrieve it only to slip on the freshly rained on CHICKEN P**P!! Complete spectacle. 🤣. Fresh change of clothes… laundry started… puppies walked again, now time to feed the cats lunch and yep… scoop litter boxes. 💩

I think I injured my p**p scooping arm. “TAVIS!!!!!!!”

First day of Kindergarten for the Friends. Cleo and I are very proud. They are a little timid today due to having a great big room but are gaining confidence every hour. Chandler even played a little. 🤍

Harper’s last baby went home yesterday. She is definitely enjoying time off (her boys were almost as big as she and still nursing!!) and spending most of her time shadowing me. She does want to know how her Bridgerton babes and her Star Wars babes are doing. She is the sweetest girl. (Always with the water dripping off her chin 😂)

Formal intro of our three Kings. Bogart, Windsor and Robert. People often ask how much they weigh. Judging this breed just by weight isn’t a good goal post. A pedigreed Maine C**n should be very long in body and tail. What you want to look for is body type. We weighed and measured each boy today. Their stats will be on their photo. Maine c***s grow in height and length until about two years old.. they will continue to put on muscle and weight until four to five years old. Our boys will stay lean because they are not neutered. They want to look good for the ladies.

Our darling Explorers are six weeks old! We have grown so attached to these little dolls. They are all sweet, gentle, playful babies.

Eloise is obsessed with the puppies. She is always sneaking in to their area. We want to keep the kittens safe from being slobbered and chewed on but Eloise just loves them and climbs right through the bars to say hi.

Bouncing Explorers

The Explorers are feeling extra bouncy this morning! At 4.5 weeks old they are already litter box trained, nibbling on mama’s food and really starting to play. We just love this innocent fun.

Mama’s babies

The Explorers LOVE their mama. They all have her gentle sweet personality and are so cuddly. Here you can see Amelia’s eye is slowly getting better. She keeps it open all the time now! Woohoo! To us it looks like it was injured somehow when she was teeny tiny. It hasn’t stopped her one

Weigh Ins

Today in the Bridgerton Kindergarten we had weigh ins, a grooming session and lots of bounding and frolicking. All were very cooperative sans Kate. She felt I was fat shaming her and did not want to stay on the scale. It’s just fluff little Kate!
