Good Sunday evening! It's been a busy year so far! This week's menu is: Braised mild Italian Sausage on cheesy polenta, and Veggie Fajitas on Mexican rice (comes with corn tortillas). Meals are $12 ($10 for 65+). Meals will be available for delivery or pick up Thursday, January 9; delivery from 12-2 and pick ups from 4-6pm. Please have your orders in by 5pm Tuesday, January 7 to ensure all needs are met. You may opt to pick up from the shop on Main St. Saturday...just let me know so I have you on the proper list. Well, we made it through the year! I am blessed to have you all in my sphere and look forward to keeping on keeping on! There have been and will be many challenges for all of us, but we will hold each other up, eh? The motto for Feed the Joy this year is "Strive to Thrive in '25!" (Thanks Chuck and Irene for putting this thought in my mind!) This is mantra for EVERYONE, no matter the circumstances, no matter where you are in life's journey....Feed the Joy wishes everyone the best, and hope that this community will come together and make it so for ALL. In all that is the message that is the life-blood of Feed the Joy---always be humble and kind.

This week's menu is: Chicken Salad (chx, mayo, sliced almonds, cranberries) on a big bed of greens, and Haluski (braised cabbage and onions over buttered noodles with smoked turkey sausage). Meals are $12 ($10 for 65+). Meals will be available for delivery or pick up Thursday, January 2; delivery from 12-2 and pick ups from 4-6pm. It's a chilly, damp day today! Brrrrrr! Feed the Joy shop is open 11-3 today! We have warm knitted hats, fingerless gloves, kids slippers and other goodies in the shop. Those hats will keep you toasty if you decide to go play in the snow! Be safe out there and stay joyful!

Christmas Eve is upon us today....take a moment to reflect the reason for the season....it's not big meals, fancy presents, garland and sparkly stuff....Hope your Christmas is filled with love and peace, for that is truly the most valuable of things we could ever have. Brrrrrr! Another cold, wet day here in Ione! Feed the Joy shop is open until 3pm. Just received 2 nice warm coats (sized small and medium), so c'mon down if you or someone you know is in need. Meals will be available Thursday, December 19; delivery from 12-2, pick ups from 4-6pm. You may also opt to pick up Saturday, December 21 from 11-3 at the Feed the Joy shop on Main Street. It is Samaritan Sunday at Feed the Joy shop! We have gleaned a nice selection of sweaters, jeans, slacks and tshirts, along with some super cute & WARM kids slippers. All clothing and slippers are $5. C'mon down and browse! Shop local to save time and money -- and you don't have to fight the crowds and traffic! Woot! Stay joyful!

C'mon down and do a little shopping out of the wind and rain! Gifts, 3-D printed items, warm kids slippers, knitted hats and a smile....we got it! Stay joyful!

It's a brisk, sunny Sunday! Feed the Joy shop is open 11-3 today! Along with our usual eclectic array of fun items (excellent for gift giving and stocking stuffers), we are starting our Samaritan Sundays, wherein you'll have access to items at a deep discount. This week we have jeans (some used, some new, sizes from 3-8), slacks, and black women's t-shirts (L-###L) for $5/each! Also have a few fresh loaves of sourdough. Back by demand! Feed the Joy is again offering ready-to-bake meat lasagna, vegetarian lasagna and apple crisps to make your holidays just a wee bit easier!
