My 2024 season is underway! Three early season pairs have successfully been paired, and now we wait for eggies! Blackjack is a first-timer male, and Hackberry is a first-timer female, while the rest have been previously proven. I'm excited to see how it goes!

Dead Justice 🤎 This gal is such a beautiful chocolate color when fired up, and with that thick cream color, she looks like a candy bar! She rested this 2023 season and is on the 2024 roster to be paired with Affogato.

Checkers 🖤🤍🖤 I love the white puffs she has on her sides! She might look a little plain, but when I think she has something special about her, especially when she fires up.

Crested geckos aren't the only species we keep. In 2024 we will be trying to breed African Fat Tailed geckos for the first time! We'll be pairing 2 females to test the waters. Pictured here is one of our females, Gravy!

Blackjack exploring my new plant stand. He's going to be a first year breeder this upcoming season, and is going to be paired with Stardust. Our breeding plans for 2024 are being solidified, and it's looking like our nicest pairs yet!

Last bab of the season is extra spicy! This kiddo hatched out less than 2 weeks ago and is highly suspicious of me. They'll come around tho! Getting spicy babies to trust me is so rewarding. A little food bribe goes a long way 😋

Peaches 🍑 I love all my geckos, but sometimes I get one that I just really vibe with. Peachy is turning into one of those. She has such a curious and gentle temperment! Makes me feel like we're on the same wavelength 😊

Sandalwood being cute. She is awful to get pics of lol. She's not jumpy but she is very grabby and kept turning her head away from me or contorting herself into weird positions. Love her tho!

Wishbone finally makes another appearance! I haven't held this guy in weeks since he does best when left alone. He's one of four saras I have here, and he is the biggest and most reclusive. I love the tails on these guys! They're much stronger and more prehensile than crestie tails, and they seem to use them more.

More cute baby gecko pics! These guys are so adorable. First kiddo is a Affogato x Tiramisu baby and the rest are Glow x Firefly. These guys are also coming to the Janesville, WI show with some others 😀

Safflower 💛 She is Honeybee's half sister. They share Daisy as their mom, but Saffy's sire is Cookie and Honey's is Douglas. The Daisy offspring have really bright, clean yellow base colors that I hope to refine over time. Honey's kids this season are killer, so I'm excited fo see what Saffy will produce next season when she's ready!

Honeybee 🐝 She and Buttermilk made a great pair this past season. I love her bright base color and light eyes!

Buttermilk 🥞 He's one of the biggest male geckos I own at 70 grams. He's probably physically the strongest too. Lucky for me, he's usually a gentle giant. He sired some beautifully spotty kids with Honeybee this season.

Poison (left) and her daughter Vertigo (right). My goal with my Glow x Poison pair was to make a mini-Poison, and I think it was a success! Poison was so sleepy during this, she kept nodding off lol.

DISCLAIMER: These two were only put together for some quick pics and each are housed alone. Geckos can be territorial/aggressive so know your geckos before letting them interact even for supervised short periods.

I think Cinnabar is the most dragon-like gecko I own. She's certainly got that fierce look! Excuse the bit of dirt stuck in her lip in a couple of the pics. She tried to bite me when I attempted to get it out, so I let her be lol.

This little cutie came out of Affogato x Tiramisu earlier this year. I love that little freckle on their cheek! Tiramisu has a handful of spots on her and Aff has one single spot on his cresticles. Not all their offspring have spots, and it's interesting to see the distribution and expression of dalmatian in their babies.

Poison appreciation post! She is such a beautiful patterned dal. About half of her eggs this season have hatched, and the babies are thriving! She was paired with Buttermilk, and the variety in their offspring is very interesting. I think I'm getting closer to figuring out the heritability of her different traits.

Another new bab! This one hatched out especially large and bold! Next day weigh in was 2.20g. Their sibling was 2.04g. Tiramisu has made some big kiddos, which makes sense bc she's huge herself.

Fat lard Tiramisu ripped two leaves off of my tomato plant 😤 She's lucky she's cute... To be fair to her, she's actually lost a good bit of weight since she was her heaviest, but she has a lot of loose skin that makes her seem squishier than she really is. But making fun of her is still entertaining lol.

22-PoGlo-8 has some cool orangey tones on their dorsal and tail. It's kind of hard to get on camera but it looks kinda pinkish in person. Lovely temperment on this kiddo 😊

I know patterned dals are controversial, but I love them! This female is a holdback from last year out of Glow x Poison. Her pattern is super interesting-looking, which is perfect for this project. I still need to give this girl a name.

My tiniest gals are getting big! They're pretty used to me poking around their enclosure, so this little lady came to say hi! Some of my mourning geckos are finally starting to lay eggs too :)
