Beautiful miss Brenda is looking for her forever 🏠
Brenda is from our Simone x Apollo litter everyone loves!!!! We kept this girl back to just have some fun in the ring and to train her up 🖤 I co-own three of her sisters and although Brenda is just lovely in so many ways, she is SO fun and would thrive in an active home! There isn’t a moment Brenda isn’t cracking us up here , since a puppy her antics just leave a last impression.
Brenda loves to play and work, she has a great off switch and is fantastic in the kennel. She has an intermediate level of training and can be in public with ease. Currently is a year old!

Dear Valued Clients,
I am excited to share the wonderful news that I am expecting a new addition to my family! As part of this exciting journey, I will be taking maternity leave starting February 14th and returning in mid-April 2025.
During this time, we remain fully committed to your dog's success and ensuring a seamless experience for you:
• Lisa will be monitoring all messages sent to our main line at 319-383-0044 and will ensure any inquiries are addressed promptly.
• Jenny will be stepping in to handle individual lessons and provide excellent training support in my absence. She will also be managing any basic boarding needs during this time, but we kindly ask that you book as far in advance as possible. Contact Lisa however to schedule.
• Please note that there will be no group classes during this period.
Additionally, we are now booking our final May, June, and July boarding and training slots. To ensure you don’t miss out on summer training, we kindly ask that you get in touch as soon as possible. My evening private lesson spots will be prioritized for transition lessons for boarding and training graduates, as well as for our lifelong support weekly group class.
We deeply appreciate your understanding and continued trust in us. We are confident in our ability to provide a great experience and service for our community as we have for many years. The transition should be as smooth as it was for the first two boys. If you have any questions or concerns, don't hesitate to reach out. We’re here to support you and your furry companions every step of the way!

5 month old Nico and 2 year old Carter advocating the importance of optical exams in our breed! Carter is got his OFA certification tonight and Nico is got a pre-check clearance for juvenile eye diseases !
Whether you are a breeder or just have a pet let’s do our part and get those eye exams done! I learned this year how incredibly important yearly rechecks are not only for data on health in our breed but also because if something is wrong you can be ahead of it and intervene as soon as possible!!!

Was an absolute pleasure getting the opportunity to get to know this family in my boarding and training program. I’m proud they followed through with the homework and came to so many visits and worked with us while we had Reggie. They did everything it took to make sure they were prepared for their dog to come home into an environment where they could provide consistency and clear expectations.

Sharing an ad for a client looking to rehome their bite risk German Shepherd! There is no rehoming fee and you can contact them directly! Knallhart will offer a free complimentary training transition lesson to her new family!
Bailey is a 4 year old German Shephard rescue who was adopted when she was 4 months old. Her family has made the difficult decision to rehome her. She has never shown aggression in her home with her companions but has been aggressive to strangers on or near their property. She was let outside unattended one day which resulted in the bite of a neighbor who was jogging in front of their home.
Many young children are in the neighborhood, and the family cannot risk her biting another person. She has been loved and well cared for over the past 3 ½ years. She was boarded for an 8-week “boot camp” at Knallhart Kennels in January/February of 2024 and is very well trained. She will sit, wait, heel, and her recall is excellent. She has lived with another dog the entire time and has never been aggressive to him. She is reactive to other dogs while on walks or in the car but is leash trained and recovers quickly.
She would be the perfect companion for someone without children who have a fenced yard or live in the country.

And big boy Ch Oceano Knallhart’s What About Tomorrow “Carter” pulls off a Select Dog !!! Carter will be 2 years old end of next month and almost has his Grand Championship finished 🌟 (Sofia x Flash)
Both these kids are growing up so nicely and I just love more than anything showing them and enjoying their incredible personalities 🖤 I can’t help but smile ear to ear at how they are growing and learning and equally enjoy hanging out with me (even with as loud and obnoxious as I am 😂)
Thank you to everyone who came out today to clap for us and cheer us on! Was so cool having a group of people who all attended the show just to support us and the fancy! All the extra hands to help with crates and passing off kiddos doesn’t go unnoticed. We appreciate the love soooo much!!! 💕 Congrats to Rita and Jammer going best of breed Friday and today, was well deserved he is an absolutely lovely boy!!!!

She is extremely thorough, professional and has strong attention to detail . She on top of that is fun to talk to and very willing to spend time answering questions . Part of the puppy buying process for us included a thread with all the future puppy owners that continued for many weeks containing pictures of the puppies , articles , teaching regarding feeding with charts and a group zoom that taught all of us as a group preparation for bringing a Newfoundland home and care at home .

Had Sofia and Yara heeling (on slip leashes) on my left , pulling wagon on the right with Brenda, Miles sleep on my back in his carrier and Calvin walking beside me 😂 Lady had a dog barking who lunged at us and I just rolled my eyes…. What’s your excuse of why you can’t control your one dog and I have three and two kids 🤷🏽♀️😂
