Homie wants to remind everyone that Open House starts now through 4pm! Come by the shelter to meet the cats.

(Homie is scared being in the larger room so will likely be hiding when you come by. Once he gets to know you and you sit quietly for a bit, he does come out and ask for attention. He loves to sit in his favorite volunteer's lap and get brushed.)

5 year's old Emmit is good with other cats and cat savvy calm dogs. We think he would be ok with older kids, but he'd have to meet them first. Come meet Emmit on Sunday from 2-4pm.

Darling Darla had her spa day this week and is rocking her lion cut! She's so happy to no longer be covered in little mats pulling on her skin. She can't wait to show off her new look to all of the Open House visitors today from 2pm-4pm and get lots of pets and may even give out some adorable kitty kisses!

(Note: We had to separate her and her brother Emmit overnight so they both didn't have to fast for her spa day, and surprisingly, Darla has let us know that she loves having her own space and refused to go back in with Emmit! Emmit also doesn't seem to care that she's across the room, he just wants loving from people. So, this means that Darla and Emmit can be adopted together or separately. They would both be ok with other cats with similar energy levels, calm cat savvy dogs with proper introductions and older kids (they would need to meet and let the cats decide how they feel).)

Happy Adoption Day, Stix, now called Winston! We are so happy he found the perfect home with kitty friends who also eat the same special diet he has. Winston adores his toy basket.

It's Friday! 🎉 Lana and Homie can't wait to party with everyone during Open House on Sunday from 2-4pm!

This sweet, playful duo is looking for a home together! We believe they'll do well in a quieter home with other cats, a cat savvy mellow dog with proper introductions and older kids. Both are friendly and ask for attention (they might even climb in your lap once they know you well). Homie is a little nervous at first and might hide, but he's outgoing once he's comfortable.

Ten year old neutered male “Kitty Boy” was recently relinquished by someone who could no longer care for him. Due to cat allergies his current caregiver is not able to keep him.
