This beauty was 3 days into our 3-week program (on Wednesday) and she’s loving it! We wanted y’all to see what the first week of “training” typically looks like. Little Marley!🥰 This is the tiniest little Lab EVER!!! Marley came to us with a number of issues. From hyperactivity to house training, she had it all going on! Her humans biggest complaint was her demanding behavior and biting her skin up to shreds! We’d say she’s off to a pretty good start for her person! Stormi

STORMI!!!!!!!😍😍😍😍😍 This little pocket-rocket Pittie is KILLIN IT!! This little diva came in with the works! Destructive chewing, mouthing, biting, jumping on people, counter surfing, chasing animals, reactivity, you name it she had!! She’s just a little over a couple weeks into our 15 day program, and has already learned how to navigate the world so much better! Her little wiggle butt doesn’t stop wagging! **Sidenote: Stormi was found with the side of her skull bashed in and already healed. Her human has only had her for TWO MONTHS. Which means, out of that, I’VE had her for the last almost 3 weeks (M-F)… so if you ever adopt a dog from a rescue and are having issues with that dog, please don’t buy into the “three months to decompress” bull crap! Get that dog some guidance and leadership ASAP! I promise you, they’ll thank you!!!! Caharlee

Charlee update! Here’s a little side-by-side of Miss Charlee’s progression. She is about 10 days into our 15 day program here, and this girl is a rockstar!! Charlee came to us with a variety of typical behavioral issues, but her humans’ biggest struggle was reactivity, demanding behavior, jumping on people and nipping. Her mom was embarrassed to take her to the kids soccer games! Well, not anymore kiddo!! I’d say she’s come along way in a short amount of time! Way to go, kid! For those of you that have been following my beautiful sister Jeanie‘s diagnosis of ALS, I just wanted to share this video from one year ago in October at her daughter’s wedding. Jake

Jake came to us because “he’s an a$$hole but we love him”🤭. His family hasn’t had him for very long, and apparently he came from really crappy circumstances. Jake is very fearful, aggressive, and his go-to response is to come at you like banshee, teeth first! He is a biter, and has went after his people numerous times. He’s been used to being left TF alone and do whatever he wants. They could not put a collar on him without getting bitten…they could not put a halter on him without getting bitten…they could not touch him without getting bitten…and they SURE as hell couldn’t pick him up without him coming in for the kill! Sometimes ‘training’ takes a back seat, until the dog is truly able to listen. We’ve been working hard on changing Jake’s mind about people, and helping he see that we don’t all suck! It makes me so happy to literally watch this little dude change day-by-day to a much more stable and happy frame of mind, and to see that shell break away to reveal the dog he truly is!♥️ At one point in this clip I accidentally “hurt” him, and his response was awesome!!! Hans just finished up his training program with us and is on his way to a MUCH better mindset and life! This dude was over-the-top anxious, demanding and just a brat! With some guidance, and clear communication on what is and is not acceptable, he will be in a much better place mentally, and he has humans who are committed to putting in the work to help him navigate this world! What happens when you hire someone who calls themselves a dog trainer, then tells you to IGNORE your high-drive working dog’s bad behavior?? THIS!! You get a nervy, anxious, demanding, out-of-control dog that you have a HORRIBLE relationship with! Ignoring behavior teaches NOTHING. Y’all hear me talk “relationship” a TON. This is what I mean. The relationship this dog currently has with his humans is completely destroying this dogs mental status. This is his behavior every time he is dropped off and picked up. You can see how completely different he is with me, because I establish our relationship right out of the shoot, by making it crystal clear to the dogs what is and is not acceptable/correct. I get a completely calm, easily controlled dog. This is why I say hiring a trainer is 10% us and 90% your daily interaction with your dog. Dog training isn’t always about training. We not only need to teach your dog good behaviors, but we also help you fix (or create!) the relationship you have with your dog and heal your dog’s mind! Need help with YOUR dog???
