Happy Friday furry friends.

🐾We are getting close to opening our retail store at the salon and want to hear from you. Our goal is to offer the very best treats and pet care products. All of our packaged treats, bakery, and bulk goods will be wheat, corn, and soy-free as well as made in the 🇺🇸. We will also be offering some of our favorite tried and true grooming and pet care products but we want to know what you would want to see in a specialty pet store. What products do you and your fur family love? 🐾

PS. Don't forget to mark your 📆 to come see us at the International Festival on April 26th. We will be offering on-site nail trimming, ear cleaning, treats, and FREE pups cups. 🐶🐱

Hello furry friends. I need your help. We are getting ready to add retail to our space and we are in the process of sprucing up what is now just a lobby. I have these wall vinyls I'd like to put up, but I am stumped (extremely indecisive) as to which wall to put them on. The long blank wall is where the "Barkery" is going, and I already have a sign and decor for that one, so it's between the other three walls.
What do you all think?

We have finally defrosted and we are looking forward to warmer weather. We've had a lot of cute pups in this month but we would be remiss if we didn't acknowledge the ones we've lost.

Mrs. Beverly and her husband Robert have been bringing their pups to me for about three years. They came in one day looking for someone who could handle their large dogs and not charge them an arm and a leg to do it. I've been washing those same dogs just about every month since then. They were the sweetest couple who couldn't say no to a pup who needed a home.
To say they loved their animals would be an understatement. Please keep Mr Robert in your prayers as he and the pups navigate this new world without their best friend.

I have been grooming Bailey since the very first Saturday after I bought this business and every four weeks since that day. She never had a tooth in her mouth but she "bit" me every time her mother would pass her to me until about the last six months she was alive. The dementia had set in by then and as sad as that was she would let me hold her and love her without being startled. She almost made it to her 16th birthday. I will miss her and her toothless nibbles. 💔

Big or small we fluff them all.
Bear came in on Wednesday for his first professional fluffing. He is the guardian of his family and spends most of his days frolicking on the farm and watching over his people so coming in to see me was surely not on his bucket list. He was so sweet and did so well considering how foreign it all was. 💪🐕🚿🪮✨️

Thank you Final Victory Animal Rescue for bringing this sweet boy in for a grooming yesterday. His foster mom tells me that he is a one-woman man. He is not a fan of anyone (humans specifically, dogs are fine, not sure about cats) being around his person, especially men. I'll let the rescue tell you his background and I am by no means an expert but I think that with some patience, training, and socialization he could come around to having more people in his life.
With that being said, when he was left with me he was nervous but not at all aggressive. I was able to handle and groom him without any issues. He even let me hold him and give him some love. He does have a couple of things he doesn't like grooming wise so he will need someone willing to work with him and be patient.
I know he is feeling like a brand new pup today and ready to take on the world with his new person. If that is you please reach out to the rescue today!!! 🐶💙

🤯 12 days until Christmas and only 8 days left to get our fur friends smelling like sugar and spice for Santa Paws!!!!!

Look at this adorable pupcake Patty Cakes made for a very special pups 10th birthday. The cake is a peanut butter pumpkin banana cake with a peanut butter and yogurt frosting. 🐶

📢 We are excited to announce that we will have a space at the 2025 Irmo International Festival this Spring. We will be offering on-site toenail trimming and ear cleaning. We will also have treats for sale as well as free pup cups and a hydration station. Look for us on the walking path in the shade. 😎🐶
