Nala is STILL looking for her forever home!

As you all know; Nala has spent over 1.5 years in HOPE and another year and a half in training to overcome her reactivity and prepare for success in a structured, loving home. That’s over 1200 days looking for a home! Despite all her progress, she still has zero adoption applications.

Nala deserves a chance to thrive in a calm, committed home where she can finally feel safe and loved. Let’s find her the family she’s been waiting for!

Calling all cold weather lovers! ❄️ We’ve got some dogs for you! Tundra and Yukon are both male Huskies, Jazz is a female Husky and Juno is a female German Shepherd/Saint Bernard mix. They are all looking for new homes and would love to meet you!

Yukon and Tundra are sweet and confident boys who should NOT live with cats and would benefit from active households. Juno is very sensitive and shy so she would do best in a calm and patient home. Jazz is a very enthusiastic petite lady who would love an active family and some additional training on leash. Do you think any of these wonderful (and adorable!) dogs would be a good fit for you? Learn more and fill out an application on our website, www.hopeanimalshelter.org.

UPDATE: FOSTER FOUND!!!!!

We are looking for a medical foster home for Patches, an 11 year old intact male Beagle who was surrendered today after his owner passed away and family wasn't able to take this sweet old guy home. As you can see, Patches is very overweight which is causing him to have breathing issues, specifically issues with his trachea because there is so much fat pressing on it. Patches made a quick visit to the vet today and is now on a bunch of medication in addition to needing to drop 15 pounds. It would be best for Patches to be in a foster home as stress causes him to have issues with his breathing and unfortunately, the shelter is quite full and stressful with so many dogs and visitors. HOPE covers all food, supplies and medical costs. You just need to provide a comfortable, safe, and in this case, a quiet home, for Patches to recover in. Please contact us if you are able to help or if you are interested in adopting this sweet old guy. He is in good health otherwise, just really needs a diet and exercise program so he can breathe easier.

Cheeseball and Puddin Pop are wondering why they haven’t received any interest yet. They are shy but super sweet 4-5 month old male brothers. They are bonded so must be adopted together. They get along with other cats. They love playing and would love a home where they can explore and snuggle together. They’re a 2 for 1 adoption fee.. and you know what they say 2 are always better than 1! If you’re interested in these handsome boys you can fill out an adoption application at www.hopeanimalshelter.org.

**UPDATE: ADOPTED!! **

Buttercup is the most laid back guy you could meet. He’s a 2 year old male. He is definitely a staff favorite. He loves belly rubs and cuddles, and reaches out to anyone when they walk by. He gets along well with other cats. He enjoys playing but once he’s tired out he’s the perfect lap cat too. This guy would fit in in just about any home. If you’re interested in Buttercup you can fill out an adoption application at www.hopeanimalshelter.org.

**UPDATE: ADOPTED!! **

Alexander the Great! The name says it all he’s a great boy! Alex is a 5 year old neutered male that was surrendered to the shelter recently to no fault of his own. He is housebroken and has always been an indoor dog. He doesn’t seem to be a fan of other animals so would probably do best as the only pet. He’s a strong boy that needs regular exercise, but would also be a good couch buddy. If you’re interested in Alexander you can fill out an adoption application at www.hopeanimalshelter.org.
