We are excited to announce a new spin on our annual open house event. Our Silent Auction is always a big hit since the proceeds benefit our Lending Paws Fund for animals in need. We are taking this main attraction, our silent auction, and offering for multiple days this year!

We will not be hosting a weekend event, instead the silent auction sign up will be in main lobby…

**Update to time frame**

Friday June 7th (7am-6pm) and Saturday June 8th (8am-12pm)

Clients will be able to just stop by lobby and place bids. (We will not be taking any bids by phone/email/etc.) Winners will be contacted on Monday June 10th.

Silent Auction Items will be goodie baskets that include a certificate for bid item. You can bid on things like: bloodwork, pet food, exam, multiple monthly heartworm and flea preventions, daycare, boarding at camp bow wow, etc.

This sweet patient presented to VRPC with a significant facial wound after accidentally spending a night outside. Her wound treatment consisted of:

🩹 Sedation so the wound could be thoroughly examined and lavaged
🩹 Alternating sugar/manuka honey bandage changes
🩹 Antibiotics, anti-inflammatories, and wearing an e-collar

The wound began to produce healthy, pink granulation tissue (as seen in the images) and slowly began to close through second intention. This patient was the sweetest girl through this entire process. Now she has a tiny scar and lives a healthy and full life! 🐱❤️
