Staff Feature: Meet Dominique!

“I’ve been working as a technician at Low Cost Pet Vet for about 7 months now. My favorite thing about working here is seeing all the kittens and puppies. At home I have a 4-year-old Boxer named Canelo and a 2-year-old Red Nose Pitbull named Apollo. My current goal is to attend vet school and become a veterinarian. In my free time I love to go to the gym, go to the park with my daughter, and have fun with my friends.”

We saw this sweet furbaby recently for an eye removal surgery. She had been taken in as a stray, when her owner noticed how swollen and red her eye was becoming. We'll see her back in a couple of weeks to check on her progress and remove the sutures. 🐾

Check-up day! This furbaby came to see us due to some congestion, irritated ears, and a bit of feline acne on his chin. He went home with medication to clear everything up, and should be feeling better soon! 🐾

“Hi, I’m Buster! Last month I was feeling adventurous and jumped from a height of about 5 feet, resulting in a torn CCL. 😔 I had surgery today for the tear, and I’m heading home now to get some needed rest and recovery - they said I’m not allowed to jump until I’m fully recovered!” 🐾

Princess needed a little extra love when she was waking up from tumor removal surgery ❤ We were happy to see her energy up when she came back to have her sutures removed!

This is Horchata! A couple weeks ago, he got injured while outdoors and was left with a large open wound. We stapled up the wound and gave him some medication to heal up the infection. Two weeks later, we're glad to see Horchata is feeling better and got to have his staples removed! 🐾
