Many of you know that our daughter, Olivia McCarter, is an investigative genetic genealogist and assists police departments all over the world in solving cold cases. Several of you have asked if she was working on Angel Baby's case. Yes, she was. And yes, she did. 🥲

The Mobile County Sheriff’s Office today said it has closed a 1995 case involving the death of a newborn whose body was discovered in Fowl River, and the mother will not face a murder charge in the death.

This picture popped up in my memories today! This was Black Friday 2009 and the warehouse staff was watching the Iron Bowl! The young man in blue is my son, Macon McCarter, who will be a first-time father in just a few days! (BTW, Macon was not actually working that day as he was too young; he just wanted to hang out and watch the game!) The young man in the camo hat is Cody Woods who is now a father of FIVE! Time is flying at the 'ol feed store! 🥲 And be sure to check out the tin foil rabbit ears!
