Our little guy/farm mascot Mansai put in a huge effort in his qualifier today hanging on for 3rd against two absolute beasts. Super proud of this little fella! Over 60 days off too! When I say little, he is a certified pony, coming in at around 14 hands, maybe 14.1 on a good day. Those little legs are going 500 miles an hour out there 🤣🖤

Our big black filly we’ve been working with for almost a full year now made her first lifetime start today, and picked up a check for 5th! 💰 😁
Nice and easy confidence building first race today!

28.3 last quarter with a lot of adjustments to make. I think she can come home in 27 and change, easy 👀

Shoutout to myself for breaking this horse in a hay field 😆, Pirillo Racing for getting her to the races, and Aaron Merriman for the nice smooth confidence builder drive and not cowboying her in her first race 🙏🏽

Yesterday in 15°, with a 1° wind chill, on a track about as frozen and hard as concrete, (with a 4 second time allowance) Vel Foxy Stevie qualifies in 1:56 with a 28.4 last quarter! Wow!! Let’s go Steve! 😁😁💪🏼💪🏼

For Christmas this year, we got a Hunted House 😁😁😁
4 year old Grey Stallion by Huntsville, with a mark in 1:50, and multiple Beaten Times in 1:50 on a 5/8 track.

Does he go sub 50 in 2024? We hope! 💨

King’s Cruiser Qualifies today 3rd place in 1:55 parked for 3/4 of the mile 😁. The big fella couldn’t be stopped at the paddock and went another lap on his own, He’s feeling GOOD 😂😄

Excited to get a few test races in him and get him back in the groove!
It’s amazing what really taking care of the animal will do for them mentally and physically.

One heck of a horse! We’re very excited

See King race his first start back at The Meadows next week!

11 day’s difference! Wow!!

We purchased “Vel Foxy Stevie” and needless to say, we were VERY surprised when he showed up. He was eating everything, every spec of hay in his stall, covered in fungus, skin & bones; and when he wasn’t eating, he was hiding with his head in the corner of his stall.

Not anymore!

Today was Steve’s first day back exercising after his rehab, and he’s VERY happy to be doing his job again, as you can see!

I want to give a huge thanks to the Pirillo Racing team for getting Steve back to normal weight so quickly, and getting him perked back up mentally 😊

We are VERY focused on horse care, horse health, and the mentality of the horse here at Blair Racing. A happy, well taken care of horse is what’s most important to us. Winning races comes second.

Wow! #6 C Diddy’s Gal races HUGE today against the boys! Watch this last 1/4 mile. Has to pull up and over a bit for the horse in front of her going on a break, then she makes a break for 3 strides, gets back on stride, FLY’S up the lightning lane for 3rd, almost grabbing 2nd by a head!

✨ Last 1/4 in 27.4 despite all the chaos in the last 1/4!! Very happy with this filly! She is QUICK 😁

Does she come home in 27.0 without having to pull up and over for the offstride horse and not making a break of her own? We’re gonna find out soon 😎

Excited to announce that fractional ownership with Blair Racing Stable is coming! Today we officially broke ground on our website!

This will allow you to buy and own a racehorse, as little as a 1% share of the horse, 5% of the horse, 6-7-8%, or if your heart desires, 100% of the horse!

You will be able to go see your horse at any time and say hi, watch him/her train, race, etc; Or if you just want to be a “silent owner”, you don’t have to do anything but sit back relax and watch the races from your phone!
