Hello Betta lovers! It's been a bit of a stretch since my last post. My last few pairings didn't work out. Can't force love after all. As of this moment, all I have are two Giant Halfmoon Plakat females that I keep as pets only. I'm on the hunt for new breeding males and females, but I'm picky. I'll post pictures of my girls when they decide to cooperate.

So quick update. This happened almost a week ago now. Valiant started ignoring his nest so I took him out. I saw no fry in the tank. Discovered two later on; just two. They are gone now too. So I'll be starting the spawning process again in the near future. The ups and down of being a breeder...

So here we have a breeding "fail". Dusk decided fatherhood isn't for him and Midnight released all her eggs on her own. It's not a bad or good thing. It happens. I'm waiting on the arrival of a new male that might appreciate Midnight. Couple of weeks, and I'll try again! Dusk is officially a pet only.
