Sweetest boy ever! Buck was rescued from the side of the road in a box labeled free, with his litter mate. They are both in great hands now, and have nothing but happy wiggles, kisses, and love to give!

This sweet 50-pound Lab mix, has a story that will tug at your heartstrings. He recently found himself in the care of animal control after being left alone for a scorching hot weekend, tied to a front door without food or water. (Thank you to the neighbor that cooled him off and called law enforcement) It's clear he's had a rough time, but despite his past, Jake is learning to trust humans again. He's eager to please and understandably a little nervous about disappointing anyone.

We have had 4 of our patients test positive for heartworm this month! Make sure your pet is taking their monthly heartworm prevention so they do not contract this parasite! Heartworm is spread by mosquitoes so it is important to keep all your pet's (indoor pet's included) up to date. Heartworm costs hundreds of dollars to treat and can be fatal and only a couple dollars a month to prevent.
