We are a non-profit rescue cat organization located in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina. Our program TVAR (Trap, Vaccinate, Alter, Return) is set up for the feral and stray cats in our community including Isle of Palm, SC.In addition to our TVAR program, we have dedicated caretakers for our various cat colonies in Mt. They provivde daily feedings and homemade outdoor shelters to keep the cats out of

the elements. Managing these cat colonies gives our community cats better and longer lives. Currently FCH cares for 50+ outdoor colony cats on a daily basis.

Dean was adopted from us, 2 yrs ago as a young kitten..his humans love him so much & he allows them to dress him up etc.🐈‍⬛Black cats are so special.

Some are are a little harder to see go to new homes & I will miss these siblings for sure.. Noah & Samantha have been with me since April when they were just a few wks old, they & their 2 sisters came to me after they were found with the mom in a crate outside of an animal shelter in Georgetown. These 2 will have a great life with their new Mom ( already loving the view) & that's all the reassuring I need. Have fun you two sweet kids, stay healthy & happy & know that you're in my 🩷 furever. TNR Update on the hotel cats in N. Chs. We've tnrd 8 cats (5 were females, 3 preg.) We have 2 kittens in foster. Next weeks plan to trap the 2 adults left & remaining kittens. Feralcathelpers.com

Leon was adopted from us 6 yrs ago by his present human mom, after having been surrendered by his 1st owner then we confiscated him from the 2nd owner who was negligent to him. But 3 is a charm because this sweet boy with the wonky eye found his forever home. ❤️

UPDATE: (Mr Stray is now in good hands & has been taken in by a friend who's going to foster & start his once a day oral insulin treatment.)FOUND! This very sweet male cat in MP Old Village, no microchip 😭 could be lost, have taken to Vet for treatment & bloodwork it may be diabetic, very thin & not sure how long he's been lost. Approx 8yrs old, med/long hair. I'm hoping to reunite him with its owner unless of course some pos dumped him. Please share so we can get this kitty home before time runs out for him. Look @ this sweet girl, recd a call from someone about a kitten in a shopping center, off I go & easily trapped this calico looks about 8-9 wks old. Going to a foster as we assess her. We need a sponsor for her & you can name her too😺 $50 donation Venmo or PayPal & reply here

Our Story

We are a 501 c-3 non-profit cat rescue organization located in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina. Our program TVAR (Trap, Vaccinate, Alter + Return) is set up for the feral and stray cats in our community East of the Cooper..founded in 2016 we’ve TVAR’d over 300 un-neutered/spayed cats, thus reducing the number of litters being born to free roaming cats. In addition to our TVAR program, we have dedicated caretakers for our various cat colonies in Mt. Pleasant. They provivde daily feedings and homemade outdoor shelters to keep the cats out of the elements. Managing these cat colonies gives our community cats better and longer lives. Currently FCH cares for 50+ outdoor colony cats on a daily basis. We also provide cat food to local seniors on limited incomes so that they can continue to feed the community cats in their neighborhood. Feral Cat Helpers joined Petsmart as an Adoption Partner in May of 2018, todate we’ve adopted out over 120 cats + kittens. 30+ of those cats were deemed un-adoptable by the local Animal Society. We proved them wrong and all of those cats are living healthy lives as indoor cats with their new families. Finding good homes for all cats no matter their age, color or quirks is important to us. From ‘Hopeless to a Home’ is our belief. We are an adovocate for helping to re-home cats of all ages for cat owners who are unable to keep their pet for unforseen reasons.
