Folks it is that time of year when a lot of puppies are adopted or bought, remember they don't stay puppies. Get them trained early to avoid bad habits. I have a few openings, get you a time block reserved early.

I have received a lot of requests from people to either take their dog or to come pick up strays that have been dumped. Even though I train Police service dogs, I do not board dogs. I have helped agencies find dogs from time to time, but to take one in or to board dogs puts my dogs at risk of catching something. I am very honored that people have thought of me for help, but please understand I cannot take them in. I know folks think that any dog can become a Police service dog, but only a small percentage can pass the tests of confidence, courage, and stable mentality . With this being said, it does not mean your dog is a bad dog, but rather one that needs a different type of training or maybe owner training to understand the dog's needs.
I, like you, have very little need for those that have a dog and don't take care of them or dump them once they get bigger.
Please understand I cannot save every dog someone finds or no longer thinks they can handle. You can contact me for help in training them and maybe you will see that your dog is yours and all they want to do is please you, but you must first understand what the dog is telling you and then you can show them how to please.

Last Sunday, I had the pleasure of testing Police patrol dogs for Narcotic searches,
Congratulations to Somerville Police department and the Great Everman Police department for all 3 dogs passing the NNDDA test and getting certified for Narcotics for street patrol. I had the pleasure of testing theses dogs and all did fantastic.
I always have high expectations for both the Everman dogs, over 15 years ago I had the pleasure from a great Chief to start the K-9 program for Everman so I always want to see them strive to be better and solid at everything they do. GOOD JOB guys.

Little update... Thanks everyone for holding off while I play catch up after retiring from my long career in Law Enforcement. I WILL BE STARTING THE TRAINING BACK UP IN MAY WHEN I RETURN FROM VACATION..... I am now starting to book private and group trainings. Law Enforcement dogs are trained on set days and times, so no need to worry if Home dogs will be intermixed. send private messages

Dog training does not end at the trainers place, Dog training continues at home. Don't call me to train your dog and BASH the other trainer, If when I ask you what you do when you go home and you say "put my dog in the kennel until the next session" that is wrong on you. this is not a trainer issue, this is a owner issue.

Another great Night of training
Grandbury ISD. came out tonight with a new dog, and Everman Police brought their other dog out. Plus my loyal every Sunday dogs.... Might have to open up more days for training to keep the classes small.
