🔹 Refill your pet's anti-anxiety medications early! Ensure you're ready when sudden storms or summertime fireworks strike and may spook your pet!

🐾 June is National Microchipping Month! 🐾

A mysterious disease is circulating around the country that has similar symptoms to Kennel Cough. Though we have not seen any cases at VCI yet, here are signs to watch out for and tips to keep your pup healthy and happy! 🐶

If your dog develops any symptoms at all, we recommend not waiting to see if symptoms resolve and making an appointment ASAP! Early intervention is the best way to get our furry friends feeling better faster! 🩺💊

Ever wish visits to the vet didn’t involve wrestling your cat into the carrier or pulling on your dog’s leash into the clinic? Your pets do too! We are implementing more fear-free practices into our clinic in order to make vet visits calming and no big deal for both you and your pet. Follow along this video for tips on how you can ease your pet’s anxiety when coming in for a checkup, as well as what you can expect on our end to make vet visits as happy as possible. When you or someone in your family starts to feel ill, we can call up our human doctor and make an appointment before the problem progresses. However, our pets don’t have the same luxury! By the time you see symptoms of chronic illnesses, such as chronic kidney disease and hyperthyroidism, the disease may have already progressed quite a bit. These illnesses are MUCH easier to treat the earlier we catch them, so don’t delay your healthy checkups! Call us to schedule your pet’s wellness visits at 607-273-3133 or use the PetDesk app 😊
