Even when it’s 6 degrees and we are not in season, the horses need to be taken care of. Oxley appreciates the staff who put blood, sweat, frozen hoses, cold noses and long hours into taking the best care of the team horses.

Do you want to work with some pretty cool horses?! ‘Relax’ and clean stalls?
We are looking for part time help for the winter. Reliability and punctuality a must. Horse experience preferred but someone willing to work and learn essential.
Shifts include early mornings and/or afternoons- feeding, blanketing, turning horses out, cleaning stalls and general barn care.

Today some of the Oxley crew and the Cornell University Equestrian Team joined the Athletics team in the Out Of The Darkness Walk for su***de prevention and mental health awareness. As for many this is a subject that we all hold close to our hearts. What a great way to come together and support each other outside of the daily grind.

Every day leading up to Giving Day (this Thursday!) we are going to be highlighting one of our amazing ponies that are the heart of Cornell Polo 🚨🐎🎉

First up is Sonrisa!! Sonrisa, affectionately known as “Sonny”, is an absolute love bug in the barn, but also a beast in the arena. She is not afraid of anything and always gives it her all. She is truly the whole package: looks, personality, and pure athleticism. Sonrisa is a favorite in the women’s string, but also tears it up in men’s chukkers and loves to teach our first years the ropes too!!
