After 15 years of grooming dogs, this is the very first review I’ve ever received on Google. It feels pretty good! It’s also the first time in my career that I’ve been able to work my own schedule, which allows me to better accommodate my clients! Since starting in November, I’ve been satisfied that the schedule has filled up, and am now looking towards March for even more new clients. I may even to decide to do(( gasp)) three dogs a day! I’m so looking forward to begin working with Julie next week. A little about me: I just recently retired from Petco in Miami Beach after 15 years, where I received my grooming certification from their apprenticeship program, slowly working up to Salon Mgr. Before that, I spent the majority of my professional life working with my father and brothers at our restaurant in St. Louis. I’d have to say that I treasured my time working with dogs, and all of their unique personalities and quirks, and find myself missing the occasional kisses like this one here from Lola after her bath, which brings me back to the work I love here in Ithaca.
