Guiding Eyes for the Blind at Cornell

Guiding Eyes for the Blind at Cornell registered student organization of Cornell University

We are a student-run organization of puppy raisers, puppy sitters, and supporters of Guiding Eyes for the Blind. We hold several events on campus to raise money for Guiding Eyes for the Blind and to socialize our puppies, including Pet a Puppy, a popular stress reliever where students can meet and interact with our dogs.

With just under 6 hours left in Cornell University Giving Day, we wanted to share a quote from our president, Casey Dies:

“There truly is no better way to describe Guiding Eyes than life changing. Raising a dog, watching her grow and learn, and knowing the impact she is going to have in the future means the world to me. On top of raising money and awareness, everyone involved in the club here at Cornell – raisers, sitters, and general body members – take these dogs into our lives and hearts and eventually give them away so that other people can have fuller lives. It’s incredible.”

With your donations, we can continue this mission. We will be able to better support our raisers who take these pups into their lives for a short period of time, and then give them up to support a bigger cause.
