🚌August/September 2024 updates:

Can you believe school starts right around the corner?!

🚌 we are NOT accepting any new clients at this time.
🚌we are BOOKED around 5-6 weeks out. Please if you know your schedule book 1-2 appointments out so that we are able to get you in you desired time and day!
🚌 please if you must cancel give us as much of a heads up as possible! Also, make sure the appointment is marked on your calendars at home!
🚌 please also remember we have drop off and pick up times, be on time! We do not have space to keep dogs for extended periods of time. Plus we love to keep the grooming salon as calm as possible for every dog!

Let’s spread the word and get as many pups to the sick kiddos! This is at Animal World Adventures (AWA) Pet Store donate at the store!

Would you like to put a smile on a sick child’s face & help raise $ for Gabo- Oconomowoc’s K-9 police dog? Here’s how you can help. You can donate any amount & once the donations have totaled $20, a Gabo dog will be set aside. After we have 5 or more Gabo dogs, we will deliver them to the children’s department at Oconomowoc Hospital. We had a younger girl in our store a few months ago carrying a Gabo dog. Her mom said she got it from the hospital. The smile on her face was priceless. I’m sure the Gabo plush toy helped her thru her hospital stay.

‼️‼️UPDATE: we have been working with Spectrum. It seems to be everyone calling from a US Cellular carrier has been having the issues of not being able to get our voicemail. Spectrum is doing what they can. When we are here we are answering, but for now the best way will still be to message us on Facebook!

Despite the crummy weather, spring is in full swing here at the salon! You know it's busy season when both dryers are going full speed, the windows are completely fogged over and the fur is flying!

📌 Important notices! 📌
We are booking at least 6 weeks out right now!! If you don't have your appointments booked ahead, we HIGHLY recommend doing that now!! As we have more messy spring days and the weather continues to warm up, it is only going to book out further!!!

Also, because we work solely by appointment, we ask that you try not to drop pets off too early nor come back in to pick them up too much before your designated time. There are a few reasons that we ask this: We don't have a lot of kennel space, we try to keep noise/barking to a minimum, sometimes we have dog-aggressive dogs/anxious pets/etc. Lastly, if your dog sees you come back before they are done, they get too excited and we are unable to safely finish them.
We know that sometimes we get off-schedule ourselves, so these things can't always be avoided, but we try our best to keep things running smoothly!

As you may have heard, there has been an increase in cases of canine respiratory disease across the US. While there haven't been any cases recorded in Wisconsin, we are still taking some extra precautions. We are doing additional disinfecting between each dog, we are not allowing any nose-to-nose contact, etc. We have also been in contact with trusted veterinarians who are keeping us updated. Word is spreading quickly via the media and social media but we don't want everyone to panic. We're just being as careful as we can.

‼️ We need your help as well! Please let us know if your pet has a cough, or has eye or nasal discharge before coming for your appointment. Out of an abundance of caution, we will reschedule all dogs that have signs of illness.

Our number one concern is keeping each and every dog safe. Thank you for helping us do that!
