Due to health hurdles, we will be downsizing and rehoming Kitty in the City’s MME Marsali (pictured below & in comments), CH Kitty in the City’s E’Claire, and Aurora (mother of these girls)! We spent our day in Ann Arbor at the CFA cat show!! KITTYINCITY’S Tamago from Kyoto did great at her first CFA show! A big congratulations to her owner and exhibitor, Jeanine, who is getting acclimated to the cat show world! Jeanine, we wish you and “Eggy” all the best, and certainly more ribbons in the future!!

Introducing my beloved Parker Dickens of MCFP (Maine C**n Foundation Preservation), F1 boy, and father of our current litter. He was very sneaky & mated with our female, Aurora, so I’m very grateful to be able to say that he passed his echocardiogram on Thursday!!! 😻😻 That’s part of the reason I haven’t advertised the litter yet; I wanted to make sure both parents are 100% healthy! Now I KNOW they are! 💕 Dickens will be in Pawpeds soon, but for now, here is his brother’s link in the database! (I own his brother, too. Both gorgeous and perfect F1’s for the MCFP program, in my opinion!)
Side note: He had just had a bath prior to these photos, so don’t mind the wet parts of the coat.

Update & a BIG thank you to all!!
Our last kitty, Nola, from the Famous Cities Litter, went home to Texas on Tuesday!! I had misplaced my phone, so I didn’t get an official departure photo with Natasha Collins-Knott RN, the owner! 😌
This Texas family now has THREE of our kittens from three different litters (but the same daddy!) In Natasha’s words, which she reminds her cats of, “Your daddy was a rollin’ stone!” 😂🤣
I want to take the time to thank this family specifically for trusting us with so many babies. It is an honor to work with ALL of our families, but when a family keeps coming back & flies all the way from Texas to keep getting babies, you know you’re doing something right!! I am humbled to be a cat breeder and know that we are making a difference in the lives of many families. It still is a big deal for us, and we care about our kittens, cats, and the people/homes they go to—more than I can explain in words.
Thank you, Natasha, for your love for our kitties!! Thank you to all of our other families and supporters as well. You are so special to us!

Featured Breed | The Maine C**n Cat

The Maine C**n Cat is a massive, broad-chested cat with a long rectangular body and the fur is long and flowing. The males average around 12 to 15 pounds, with some going 20 pounds or more. The females are smaller, averaging 9 to 12 pounds. The head is medium in width and length with a squareness to the muzzle. They are known for their sturdy, rugged appearance, which includes an uneven, shaggy coat of three distinct lengths and a long, well-furnished tail.

The Maine C**n Cat is a gentle, loyal breed. They make wonderful family pets and get along well with children and dogs. Depending on the breed of dog, the Maine C**n Cat can be bigger than Fido.
