!! RESCUES NEEDED !!

All of these precious souls are in need of immediate help by an approved 501(c)3 Rescue.

Sadly, these wonderful dogs have found themselves in the shelter for various reasons, abandoned strays, landlord issues, financial hardship, relocating, etc. And now, unfortunately, these pups need a little extra help out of the shelter. We have posted their stories over and over, we have reached out to many Rescues, we have pleaded for fosters but unfortunately, they still wait for help.

If there are any approved 501(c)3 Rescues that can help or if you are interested in fostering for the wonderful Rescues who are standing by waiting to help, please email [email protected] ASAP!

Please share.

A few weeks ago we shared these scared little babies that were dumped behind the shelter so staff reached out to Jersey Shore Animal Foundation to help find an experienced foster or adopter who could work with them. Well yesterday was their lucky day! They were pulled into the Volunteer Auxiliary for Animal Shelters Inc. and will get all the love and socialization they need by a very determined foster.

Please visit their FB page in the coming weeks to find out about their progress and availability for adoption.
Gotta love those airplane ears! 🖤🤍

💙 RESCUED 💙

And he is out of there! Echo was sprung from the shelter today thanks once again to our wonderful Rescue partner Husky House! A very big thank you to Stacey Wyckoff for advocating for him and giving him his freedom ride.

Echo had a rough past having come in as a stray after being found late at night tied to a fence and abandoned. All that is behind him now as he continues on his journey with this wonderful Rescue.

Thank you, Stacey, Lorraine and everyone at Husky House for helping our boy Echo.

Congrats and happy life Echo 💙

!! IMMEDIATE RESCUE NEEDED !!

Look at this boy, he is in need of immediate rescue from a 501(c)3 Rescue. Ghost is an older gentleman who was surrendered back to the Shelter after having been adopted almost 7 years ago. This is just heartbreaking for this older guy who is not handling the shelter environment very well.

Ghost is now between seven and eight years old, he’s a great dog who definitely needs a weight loss program. He loves his casual walks and loves all the volunteers. He seems to enjoy all of his relaxing spa days. Ghost did well on his dog introduction at the shelter but in his last home, the resident dog was too energetic and overwhelming for Ghost so he would need a home as an only dog or with another calm dog.

We are in immediate need of a 501(c)3 rescue to help him safely out of the shelter. He is such a great dog who needs a quiet, loving home for his golden years. If your Rescue can help, please reach out ASAP to [email protected].

Please share our boy Ghost, please let’s get him out of the shelter!

This handsome boy is brand new to the adoption floor! We will have more pictures to come.

Introducing Cash, an approximately six month old puppy recently surrendered to the shelter. He is an adorable and playful little guy who was frightened when he first arrived at the shelter, but has learned to trust everyone. He is a great pup who would be a wonderful companion for an active family. He doesn’t seem to mind other dogs and paid no attention to the kitties. Cash will need a little more basic training and some help on the leash. He is very eager to please!

Cash is now available for immediate adoption or to any 501(c)3 that can pull him. This handsome boy needs a home for the holidays and is waiting for you at the Northern Ocean County Animal Facility, 615 Freemont Avenue in Jackson. The shelter is open seven days a week from 1 to 4 PM.

Cash is neutered, up-to-date on vaccines, heartworm negative and microchipped. This little boy is ready to go to his forever home.

Please share Cash!

New to the adoption floor, another beautiful little black pity mix, the most gorgeous Lana!

This sweetheart arrived at the shelter as a stray, estimated to be between two and three years old. She is another great girl who has found herself in the shelter waiting for her true forever home.

Lana passed all of her assessments, is spayed, up-to-date on vaccines, heartworm negative, microchipped and she is dog friendly, however, she’s not a fan of the kitties.

Lana is really a happy go lucky sweet girl. Please go meet her or any of the other wonderful dogs or kitties we have available at the Northern Ocean County Animal Facility, 615 Freemont Ave in Jackson. The shelter is open 7 days a week from 1 to 4 PM.

Please share, please help us find our amazing dogs and kitties forever homes for the Holidays.

❤️ RESCUED ❤️

A very special boy named Conner has left the shelter. Conner took his freedom ride today thanks once again to Shore Saves!

This staff and volunteer favorite came to the shelter as a stray, skin and bones, nervous, not knowing what a toy was or how to play. While he waited for help he received tons of TLC from everyone at the Shelter and today was the best day ever as he has been scooped up by this wonderful rescue.

We cannot wait to see this boy thrive, to put on a few pounds and to learn what it is to be a dog. Thank you so much Sue, Andy and everyone at Shore Saves for helping this very special boy.

Good luck Conner, your best life is ahead of you! ❤️

These three beautiful Huskies are still at the shelter, waiting for help. We cannot believe the number of Huskies coming into the shelter. Handsome boy Echo, on the left, and our beautiful girls Fenrir, top right and Icelynn bottom right are all strays. All three of are fantastic dogs who have passed all of their assessments and are dog friendly.

Of course, Huskies love to run and play and they are really enjoying this cold weather. The staff and volunteers spend as much time as possible with them, but they need forever homes, they need forever families.

Please share for these young gorgeous dogs. Active families who love dedicated intelligent dogs, we have three amazing pups right here!

Echo, Fenrir and Icelynn are all
available for immediate adoption or to any 501(c)3 that can help them out of the shelter. If your rescue can help, please email [email protected].

These wonderful dogs are waiting at the Northern Ocean County Animal Facility, 615 Freemont Ave. in Jackson, open 7 days a week from 1 to 4 PM. Please go meet them and please share!

Jazz is still waiting!!

Still available for adoption is our adorable little pup Jazz! This sweet little girl arrived at the shelter as a stray, just a puppy, abandoned, who now finds herself in the shelter patiently waiting for a loving forever home, a family that will give her all the guidance, training and love that she needs.

Here is just a little snippet of what Jazz has already learned. Thanks to our wonderful volunteer Carina who works with all the puppies that come in to the Shelter, Jazz is already showing off her skills. She is extremely intelligent, eager to learn and will be a wonderful addition to almost any home!

Please go meet Jazz or any of the other wonderful dogs and kitties patiently waiting for forever homes for the holidays. Jazz is available for immediate adoption or to any 501(c)(3) that can help her. She is at the Northern Ocean County Animal Facility, 615 Freemont Ave. in Jackson. The shelter is open 7 days a week from 1 to 4 PM. Let’s get all of these deserving dogs and kitties into homes for the holidays.

This beautiful girl was rescued from the shelter today thanks once again to the amazing Pitties And Pals Rescue!

Gorgeous LouAnne or Gabrielle (Gabby) (she still hasn’t decided which name she likes best), took her freedom ride today and is settling into her new foster home.

Thank you once again Pitties And Pals for helping this poor abandoned and neglected but amazingly sweet girl out of the shelter and on her way to tons of TLC and a true loving forever home.

We have had so many wonderful rescues recently. We have the most amazing Rescue partners, and we are grateful to all of them and their foster families for helping so many of our dogs in need.

Good luck beautiful girl! 🩷
