Sky has been at our shelter for months!
The kennel is no place for an older gal and we would love to get her outta here🙏🏼

She has wonderful leash manners, totally house broken, and happily chews her bones on her bed. She is quiet and enjoys back scratches and cuddles 🥰

Sky spent her time with a young husky in her previous home. Currently she would rather have all the attention to herself, but can warm up to the right energy of dog.

Her adoption fee is SPONSORED🩷

She is spayed, fully vaccinated, heartworm negative and microchipped.

Amador County animal shelter is VERY full of dogs. And many of them have what we look for in dogs for our program: friendly personality, trainable and of course adorable! These dogs need a hero and we would love to find you a best friend.
If you are a Military Veteran or First Responder (EMS, Fire, Law Enforcment, Corrections, Dispatch, Crisis Work, and many other jobs) and are considering adopting a dog, please contact us. Our adoption fee is $150 and that includes a full board and train for basic obedience and manners, and a stay at our foster mom’s house to learn house skills. We volunteer at Amador shelter and are already very familiar with the dogs that are here and can help you pick your new best friend. Give us a call! (209)256-0421

After 3 weeks of training Chance got to goto his forever home. He was in the shelter for 9 months. We trained him to be a stability dog for his new owner. Chance was a champ!! He took to training fast. I’m going to miss him but he has a job to do now.

Training dogs can be hard. Start off right with our 5 week puppy class!!! Next one starts August 30th. We teach all the basics. Sit, stay, down, heel, come, leave it, drop it and solve issues. All for $100. Call or text Tim at 209-256-0421.
