It’s #givingtuesday and I’m sure your feeds are full of charitable organizations needing your help. If I’m going to be honest, I wasn’t going to post anything today because it’s exhausting asking for help. It’s tiring thinking of words to persuade people to help us. And there are so many in need right now so we know we aren’t alone in needing your support. We are a small, rural shelter. We don’t have a fancy building for our animals. We do our best to take care of those in our care at the shelter, in our homes, and in the community.
It is getting colder and there is a lot of stress with our big dogs being in outside kennels. We need your help purchasing heaters. They are $114 each and we need 8 of them. So we are looking at $912 just to buy them. This doesn’t include shipping or the electrical work it will take to install them. If you can help us keep our dogs warm this winter we would be so incredibly thankful. Most of the dogs at the shelter are there for a reason or we’d make sure they were all in homes. Your support is so important and we are thankful for all you do for us.

Wishful thinking but I still hope the two senior sisters will find home to spend however much time they have left on earth. We love seniors. ❤️

She’s approximately 1-2 years old. Spayed and up to date on shots. She is pretty well potty trained. Loves every human she meets and gets along well with other dogs.
