Funny story... when Dad (Dr. Coward) was interning with another vet in the 70's, the older doc always kept a pen behind his ear. He puts a glass thermometer into the nether regions of a fractious Jack Russell while the owner held the dog. He and Dad walk out of the room to write some notes while waiting for the thermometer to register temp. Older doc grabs the pen from behind his ear to make notes, realizes he is holding the thermometer, just looks at Dad and says I'm going to need you to go back in there and get my pen. 😆 true story

Hey y'all, I just wanted to let y'all know we haven't been able to move forward much on the clinic due to the fact that Mrs. Coward has been/still is in the hospital. We expect her to come home soon, but obviously that sidetracked any progress made at the clinic. Hopefully as soon as she gets back home and settled we can get back to work on the office. Anyway I know some of you have been wondering, so that's what's going on. Ronnie has started working at MARL, and you can call him at 601-946-6153 to get him to bathe your pups! I'm (Melanie) studying for my insurance license. We miss you and I'll still update here as soon as anything changes. ❤❤❤

Good morning, just FYI, I am working diligently on getting records mailed out. Since I have to handwrite everything, it's taking a minute, but don't worry, I'll get them to you asap. On another note, Dr. Coward is in talks with another vet we've been impressed with regarding buying the clinic, so stay tuned. I'll update here regarding the progress on that as things progress.

Well I guess this is the announcement everyone has been dreading. Dr. Coward will be retiring at the end of this month. He's been doing this for going on 51 years, and it's time. I always say we have the very best clients, and I can't express how much we'll miss you. Each of you and your fur babies have a special place in our hearts and some of our very best memories include you. You'll stay in our hearts as I'm sure Dr. Coward will stay in yours. ❤
