FAQs
FAQ:
โAre you still seeing patients and scheduling regular appointments?
โ๏ธYES. No matter what is going on in the world your horses are still going to need care at some point. Your horses health is our first priority.
โWhat should I do when I arrive at the clinic for my appointment?
โ๏ธPlease remain at your truck and trailer and call the office at (573) 243-8645 to check in. We will check all of your information and get the history and problems you are having with your horse over the phone. We will then come get your horse (using our lead rope), proceed with the exam, and bring the horse back out to you along with instructions and any medications recommended. We are accepting cash, check and card payment (over the phone) due at time of service. We are following these proceedures to protect you and our staff. We must stay healthy so we can continue to provide care for our patients.
โHow can I become involved in the examination of my horse?
โ๏ธIf you are interested in what happens during the exam we can send videos and pictures to your e-mail or messenger of the important parts of the exam. We encourage you to interact with us on messenger or email. Our doctors will also call you at the conclusion to give details about the exam and a plan to treat. You can call anytime during the exam or after with questions.
โShould I put my horses vaccinations on hold?
โ๏ธIf your horse is due for annual vaccinations please do not wait! Mosquitoes are already becoming active, so it is important we continue to vaccinate against the mosquito born diseases. We are unsure when things will return to "normal" and your horses health is still our top priority. Our new procedures limit contact with our clinic and staff to ensure your health as well. Call the clinic at (573) 243-8645 to schedule your appointment!
โAre you all still breeding mares?
