We at Jackson Veterinary Hospital would like to wish you and your family a very Happy Thanksgiving!

We will be closed Thanksgiving Day 11/28, but will be back in the office 11/29 at 9am.

While celebrating this year keep in mind...

🦃Keep the feast on the table!
Bones, gravy, sauces, dressings, fat and skin can cause gastrointestinal upset. Bones can cause a possible choking hazard or an intestinal obstruction in your pet.

🦃Put your trash away!
Do not leave anything out that may cause a problem. Turkey carcasses and food packaging can turn dangerous very quickly!

🦃Watch your pets around the holiday decorations.
Some plants are toxic to your pets, and certain decorations such as pine cones and corn cobs can cause gastrointestinal problems or blockages as well.

🦃Some visitors can upset your pets, specifically children. Also watch the exits, a scared pet is a fast pet. Please make sure to have collars with ID tags on just to be safe. (No one wants to spend the holiday possibly getting hit by a car or in the shelter.)

if you are in need of medical care for your pets please contact Northstar Vets at 609-259-8300 or Garden State Veterinary specialist at 732-922-0011.
Be safe and enjoy!
